  hey all,.

  i've been out all day, so i apologize in advance if anyone already posted this info.. one of my jw relatives (whom i happened to see while visiting my dad this afternoon) told my mother that she'd have to "turn in her ticket to the elders to get a replacement.

  i went to the zoo with my cousin's wife and kids today.

  they are in town from wisconsin to say goodbye to his mom who is dying from breast cancer.

  mulan and i thought it would be nice to get the three kids out of the house for the day.

  It's a very sad type of materialism - a kind of "soon, but not yet" one. On one hand the R&F are taunted by visions of being able to relax and romp with the wild animals in the new system, while on the other they're discouraged from even the therapeutic value of a domestic cat or dog in the current system because they can distract one from the all pervasive preaching work.

  If you leave you do noting more then to show that vulgar language used to hurt and condemn is indeed a useful tool and it has authority to effect you.

  No, she empowers herself by exercising her right to vote with her feet. Prisca is a kind and gentle person who really should not be having this sort of shit dished up to her. She has lost much and to see her treated the way she is by some on this board is heart-rending. I don't understand the way this happens on this board; I will be polite to people I despise when circumstances force us together - perhaps the anonymity of the 'net gives people some sort of power rush. Perhaps now instead of counting time, they count insults to those they disagree with. It's all very bizarre.
