In Ohio's Hamilton County, a pair of 18-year-olds were arrested for using screwdrivers to stab an inflatable 12-foot-tall Frosty the Snowman. "Why me?" asked Frosty's owner, Matt Williquette. "And why Frosty?"
The snowman had survived two previous stabbing attacks.

i have done no evil, killed no one, never raped or pillaged any witnesses.
i do not tolerate small-minded witnesses who called me 'brother' for most of 40 years, now acting as if i am no better than sh*t on the bottom of their shoes.

I like the way you are making visible the unacceptable rudeness of JW shunning. No one is asking them to "fraternize" or socialize with ex-JWs, but civility and basic good manners cost nothing. I suspect that, if the employer does take him to task for his behavior, it will simply increase his own perception that it is he who is being persecuted, not you. However, you have drawn attention to the rudeness evident in a lot of shunning and I applaud that.
This is a good point. Perhaps a follow up letter to the BOE would be useful. Let them know that you are being pro-active; that you are bringing attention to any shunning you receive to those outside the loop, who may unknowingly be affected. And let them know that, while in the insular world of the Kingdom Hall, shunning is seen as a necessary evil, even a good thing, outside of their walls it is perceived as rude, hateful and detrimental. And that any feelings of persecution felt by the shunners at being taken to task for treating paying customers as dirt is due to the fact that such behaviour is seen by the outside world as appalling, unacceptable, and ultimately WORTHY of persecution. IOW, your persecution is not because you have "the Truth" or that you are JWs, it is because you are BEHAVING like total d___heads!

When they are all out, the side that's out comes in and the side that's been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out. Sometimes you get men still in and not out.
When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in. There are two men called umpires who stay out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out. When both sides have been in and all the men have been out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game.

Being materialistic, as a disfellowshipping reason.

we were both witnesses at one point, i left ten year ago and my sister left in 2005. my mother remains as the only witness left in my immediate family.
while my sister and i make good money, with our careers and duel income in marriage, we don't talk about it much.

Considering that when you lift the veil on their meaning of "spiritual things", it all turns out to be totally material, I'm not surprised. Being "spiritual" in the 'Tower means counting hours, counting pieces of literature, counting money, counting bums on seats. Even prayer is formulaic and not done like an answer is hoped for or expected. So to disfellowship people for acting in the way the WBTS has trained them, would be rather illogical. Plus rich materialists always give money to the 'Tower in exchange for bragging rights. Consult their article on Simony from the 90s.

Why doesn't the Holy Spirit know the day and hour of Jesus return?

but my question is why don't the holy spirit know the day and hour?
is the holy spirit in human nature as well?
