boring meetings
by Ray6 inwhy don't the brothers put more feeling and encouragement in their parts(if they believe this is the truth-show it) much of the information is above the heads of the children.
i have to force myself to concentrate on what is being said and not fall asleep.. children are forced to sit for 2 hours or get smacked.
you can just stay home and read over material.

That's got me thinking: if everyone is expected to be at a convention which runs over a whole weekend, what happens to the Sunday meetings at the KH? Are they run by a skeleton crew to make sure it's open for a member of the public who might turn up and for those who just couldn't make the convention?
Prisca: YOU remember the 70s? You'd have been just a babe in arms - were you one of the kids who took your pic up the front? What was your picture of paradise like - did it have lots of cuddly bunnies in it?

Revelation says that the 144,000 are Jewish male virgins. The Dubs say this is symbolic, but that that combination of highly symbolic numbers, 144,000 (12 x 12x 1000), isn't!

I'll have a digital camera with me, Dave, but I doubt I'll get to use it for anything other than the ducks in the park; Ozzie's very sensitive about his photo being taken - something about a feud between his and another family over a chicken about 150 years ago, I believe. If you like Aussie ducks you'll be in for a treat!
As for "shrimp", I dunno about that - seafood at BBQs is more of a summer thing. It's more likely to be lumps of meat - steak, chops, sausages, that sort of thing. Lots of salads - potato, Greek, rice, garden etc.

Is there proof that............
by deceit inin the bible times, men 'could'/'did' shave their faces?.
the question comes from a conversation with my father (elder).
he says the reason why all men had beards was that they could not shave them because there wasnt anything sharp enough.. i am sure their swords were sharp enough alone to do it.. (he is very against people growing beards, i guess it pisses him off that i've got a goedee now hehe)

What about David's ambassadors who had their beards half shaved off by the enemy king? They had to wait for their beards to grow back before they could report to the king.
A missionary I knew told me how the Dani tribe of Irian Jaya shaved. If you had a spare afternoon, you'd get a stick and half break it, then use it as a pair of tweezers to pluck out the beard, hair by hair.
The Israelites didn't have the technology to be clean shaven? Give me a break!

Baja, one of Bill's complaints about the last appearance in court of this guy was that his side of the courtroom was filled with loyal Dub supporters while Erica had virtually none. What was the ratio this time? More Erica supporters than those who support a Dub's right to molest children? What sort of looks were coming from the Dub encampment?
