Sting Rays Being Slaughtered and Mutilated in Irwin backlash

at least 10 stingrays have been found dead and mutilated on australia's eastern coast since crocodile hunter steve irwin was killed by one of the animals last week.
the killings have prompted fears of "revenge attacks" against the normally docile fish.

Why assume these attacks are for revenge? Could the new awareness of stingray as a deadly animal be partially the reason?

by south african beef induring the boring written review, did you really prepare and look up the answers beforehand, or did you just write anything down or did you copy the superdub sitting next to you?
personally i just wrote any old thing down and ticked it as right when they read out the answers.
however when i was growing up i had to get loads right or i would face questions from my mum!

On the dishonesty thing: I had some Dub ladies visit today. I didn't realise they were Dubs at first when I saw them out the window; one had fashionable calf-length boots with heels on. I didn't think Dub chicks wore that sort of stuff. I mentioned that to her and both ladies commented that they were wearing boots and long skirts because of the cold. I briefly considered asking them why the WBTS won't let them wear slacks, but couldn't be bothered; I could just hear the BS responses like "We prefer skirts", "We choose to wear skirts" and "No-one tells us what we can and can't wear".

Is it any wonder the Witnesses are seen by many as being basically dishonest. The whole system seems geared to dishonesty. Examples: the above cheating on the written review, underlining Watchtower study articles to make it look like they've been read, and the fudging of field service hours. If you're faithful in small things, you'll be faithful in large ones. The JWs seem to be Christendom's Guererro family: encouraged to "lie, cheat and steal" from the word go.

it premieres on the 11th sept. the whole thing has been kept secret from the cast and we wont get to see it ourselves until october/november.

Has a “brother” ever screwed you?
by noontide ini was always very cautious with worldly people but of course i trusted everyone in the congregation 100%.
i trusted someone from the congregation with a business deal and got raked over the coals.
its a long and frustrating story, suffice it to say it cost me a lot of anguish, time and money.
