So Sad....
by StifflersErSlayersBrother inimagine this.. a little child,about 3 or 4, sitting there, looking around.... he leans over and sees his shoe is untied, he looks up at his parent who doesn't seem to care much, almost falling asleep, so he leans over and ties it all by himself for the first time!
he smiles proudly and looks up at his parent and tuggs on their shirt.
the parent looks down with anger and pinches the little boy on the arm real hard.

Well, it wasnt shoe tying, but I did get pinched for just about anything that seemed liked i wasnt paying attention. Was even yelled at for not singing the songs (I was 10 and the made up words didnt make since). I was at my meeting tonight, and there was like only one child who wasn't being spanked or pinched, and thats only cause he's 1.

why do jws fear getting 'priveleges' revoked?

hmm funny, I was labeled "bad association" before i lost my privleges... Of course to confirm what you said, they flat out told me in an elders meeting that if I lost my privleges, that I would be considered "bad association". hehe, I moved congregations before they could ever tell me i lostem though... Bethel rules... fables or truth...
by MrMoe incan you all enlighten me, i have heard certain "bethel rules" and wanted to find out if they are fact or fiction.
1. only one item on any surface at any time (a phone or lamp etc.. as long as it is just 1 item.).
2. allowance of $80 a month for toiletries etc... (has that allowance gone up).
