Sasquatch is real. I had lunch with him and his family last Tuesday.

Bigfoot Is Real
by metatron inhttp://networkedblogs.com/f8tw1.
they got the dna to prove it.
there are other dna studies, too - although the ones i've heard about concluded that it was an unknown primate, not a human.

how to survive Christmas
by Hortensia ini got this idea from qookumba's blog: http://qookumba.wordpress.com/.
here are some things i've done to make christmas more sensible:.
1. a few years ago i told friends i wasn't going to do presents any more, and asked them not to buy me presents.

I think xmas is more about kids, family and relaxing at the end of the year. Try getting involved in a local event(s), try volunteering, watch White Christmas and sing-a-long with Bing Crosby!
Honesty though, I think a lot of ex-jw's forget that everyone else know's how to have fun, and they've had it ironed out of them. Lighten up and enjoy life, after all there isn't anything else!
Failing that, watching Muppet Christmas carol on repeat fpr a day could work.
Bah bloody humbug.

Hi all,
I joined this site a while ago, and promptly forgot all about it. So imagine my surprise and delight when I started getting referrals from it to my blog! Thanks to:

For the recommendation!
So with humble apologies I offer a belated "Hey everybody!"
I am Chris. I am happily married with five demons. I live in Poole, Dorset, in the UK. It is wet and raining today.
I am type two diabetic with advanced diabetic neuropathy. It means I can hardly walk.
I escaped the cult 8 years ago and it was the best thing I ever did! I was brought up as a JW, so only now am I really appreciating it - it seems to take sometime for the mental readjustments.
I was Dfed for fornication. I lost everything that day and it took 18 months to begin the process of rebuilding, but I am a better man for it. I was able to let my scientific nature run free at last and discovered I was Atheist and Evolutionist. I love science and am encouraging my small ones to question everything with a scientific mind.
My parents are still in, my youngest sister is still in. My younger brother (disfellowshipped) and my other younger sister (fallen away) do not speak to me because of my revealing what they felt was too personal and detailed an excape story which was disrespectful to my parents (f**k my feelings then!)
So I am free!
Should you desire it you can read my full story here; http://qookumba.wordpress.com/cult-escape/
If you do, please leave a comment behind, it really helps!
Thanks very much.

Totally get you man!
I feel as though I missed the boat; as in I didn't get enough!
I never had the lads holidays in Ibiza for drinking shagging and dancing.
Now I am 40 I feel like there is so much I missed out on and I am angry because of it.

Are you a writer?
by Hortensia ini think that at least a few of you are writers, maybe more.
i mean honest-to-god working-for-money writers, writers with a small "w" rather than a capital "w." my experience is that writing is a lot like theater: a few stars at the top making the bucks, a middle level with lots of people who work hard and don't make much, and then a lot more hopeful people at the bottom who are trying to make a living writing with no luck so far.. tell me about it.
what kind of writing do you do?
-
Qoo_Kumba
Yes.
I write about anything that interests me, Science, Astronomy, Reason, Religion, Evolution, Health et al.
My blog is where I let my flow go......
Love to see you there!

New Personal Experiences Site
by konceptual99 incame across this site.... http://qookumba.wordpress.com/cult-escape/.
not sure if anyone else has seen it but it's very good.
there are a couple of harrowing accounts up there, especially one that reflects the flawed child abuse policies of the society, but well worth the time to read.. .

Thank you for the recommendation, very gratefully received!
If anyone reads and wants to share their experience then you can email me [email protected] in complete confidence.
Those that have already have passed on how theraputic or helpful it has been, even if tough.
Thank you again.
