I am not a Mormon, I wanted to check my source to see if old 1800s Mormons taught Jesus was "White and Delightful like the purest Vanilla Ice Coffee found at Starbucks, sure enough they did not like the black race (Black Chicks are hot!), Mormons are not the only ones with gross narrow views on race, the majority of religions should have stood up against outrageous teachings by early scientist claiming "Blacks have smaller brains, are not as smart, are not good Boxers (LOL, they have been the best :)) ...... I dated a very hot black girl in the "Wild 1980s" still we had people thinking that "all races are not equal (stupid humans), this made my father and her uncles very uncomfortable, even though it was a platonic relationship.

1 Nephi 11:13 (Mary) ". . . she was exceedingly fair and white."

2 Nephi 5:21 ". . . a sore cursing . . . as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they might not be enticing unto my people the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them."

2 Nephi 30:6 (Prophecy to Lamanites) ". . . scales of darkness shall begin to fall . . . they shall be a white and delightsome people." (Changed to pure and delightsome in 1981)

1 Nephi 13:15 (Gentiles) ". . . they were white, and exceedingly fair and beautiful, like unto my people [Nephites] before they were slain."

Simon, remember the illustration used in one of the magazines or "Reasoning Book" dealing with your thread?

"If your son was killed with a knife, would wearing a knife around your neck be a great way to honor him?" WTS used the "Gun" analogy.

Are irregular publishers included in the congregation average?

if a person does not report for the month and is zero hours is this zero included when the average is calculated?.

Less than 20 percent of JWs make $75,000 per year, that's why the WTS is going broke! Their followers have no money to share with "Mother", good idea telling your members to avoid education and "good jobs", quite odd!

wow.

i was surprised this week by calls from active jws complaining about the new magazine format, and more begging for money from the platform.. frankly i was surprized by this reaction since this is old news to jwn members.

i guess actually shuffling to the bookroom and grabbing the new "awake tracts" minus the inside cover forward ...awakened many sleepy, catatonic, bored jws who never read the things or go on the internet anyway.. any feedback from other areas?.

It's Easy To Abandon Your Parents, Using Corban To Guilt Parents!

i've read countless stories on the successful introduction of "corban into the life of a busy jw "glow-couple", nobody is willing to ask "how do you get away with practicing this type of abuse", "it's easy if you are on the regional building committee, and donate as much money as possible to mother!

" purchase gifts for the traveling overseers and pad their hands with green-backs.

nobody ask's questions from the money giving "glow couples", they are those that the society has allowed "indulgences" that started the modern-day "reformation".

The end result from many of your posts on this board, is usually the "weak", "Inactive", "ex-JWs" end up taking care of former JWs who are too old to count, and don't want to change their religion. I will never understand how people follow a religion that fails the basic litmus-test of Christianity, to show "Love". What is so attractive about this religion that keeps abused ones stuck on their "treadmill of guilt"? The "New Light", "Friends that don't visit", "The Sleeping Shepherds Sipping Smirnoff", "Tract Size Literature's Push to Pioneer or your worthless?"

What drives people to remain in False Christianity? Codependant Relationships Church Goers Cherish.
