The excuse of not being a true JW because true JW don't do bad Shit. Kinda funny how they call out Catholics for same stuff. If they want to use that excuse, so does every other religion get to use that excuse as well, or does it only pertain to JW?

Today I saw in the local newspaper in Skagit valley Washington a local man was sentenced to prison for child pornography. At firat I wasn't I terested in the article until I saw the defendants name. Omg, I knew this guy, like really well, and his entire family. He was a brother in the congregation I used to attend.
This wasn't his first run in with this issue. He spent several years in prison for in his words," had sex with a little boy when he was on meth". This same man goes door to door, sits next to kids, and even attends function s where children of all ages are present. All the years I k ew this man. Nobody ever told me he was a pedophile. I knew he went to prison, I just didn't know what for. It wasn't until after I left the church and ran into him that he told me about this. Am I shocked? Not really, this guy had creep written all over him. Sedro woolley congregations should be ashamed for letting this sum around innocent children. Who knows what else happened?

I would like to say that I do have one witness on my FB. She was in my wedding and so far she hasn't deleted me or made a stink about things I say and do on FB. She lives 2000 miles away, but that doesn't mean she isn't calling up the local elders and tattling on me.

I did this early in my fade and alot of the witnesses asked me what was wrong. So I left my FB as is and created a new one, with a fake stripper name. It had my picture on it so people that I requested knew it was me. I readded everyone that I wanted. Later into my fade I decided to take back my FB so I got on and deleted all the witnesses and when they sent me friend requests I ignored them. I felt very empowered over this.

VillageGirl and Phizzy:
He watched the documentary with me, so I'm sure got it right and I have it wrong. I am just too lazy to check my facts on here. But the show gave it to my hubby the correct way.
Sorry for confusing you guys

The saga continues..
We went out to dinner tonight and we were talking about people who don't like Obama. I tell my husband some I read on here," You can have your own opinion but you can't have your own facts." He totally agreed with and then was when i started to "witness" to him. I told him how that statement reminds me of how the watchtower society has their own opinions and trying to pull it off as a fact over the fall of jeruselem. I asked him if he remembered how that templar special also mentioned that the Fall of J was in 586 and I asked him how the society can come up with the date 1914 if all of their dates are wrong including the difference in the hewbrew calender and the gregarian calender. He nodded with me in full agreement that there was a difference, I let him know that russel used 365 days to calculate 1914. I went about how its a sham. He then said to me, "someone explained it to me before and it made sense" I then proceeded to ask him how it is possible to have one account have two different days. It is wrong.Period. No ifs and or buts about it. It does not add up. I asked him if he remembered the deffinition of cognitive dissonance, he didn't so I reminded him. He didn't say anything so i decided to get off of that subject onto how it can't be gods organization if the bible specifically says that if false prophecies and predictions were made, then it was not gods religion. Well, the bible is clear about that so why should I not be able to go to a differnt church to serve god. Why is soul to be forever damned because I am to prideful or brainwashed to seek out god and jesus at another place of worship. I aksed him if he ever had a personal relationship with jesus and if he has accepted him as his personal saviour. He said NO! what a christian.. to not accept jesus. I asked him he wanted to and he can without the WTS they don't have a Jehovah trademarked. God is everywhere and available to everyone not just Jehovah's witnesses. On the way back home I drove him by the church that I have been attending. I showed him that it is in a warehouse and not a church and its for the community and non denominational. He didn't even know what non-denomination was. He sounded more receptive to the idea today.

Last night my husband and I watched a special on the History Channel about the Knights Templar. About two weeks before I showed my husband the 607/587 blunder. First off, he didn't even know that 607 was relevant to JW teachings. So I showed him and he was surprised. Well, while we were watching the show it mentioned that the fall of jeruselem as 586, I am not sure if my husband noticed, although I am sure he connected the dots, because when he started to talk about the show to his mother I chimed in and told her how surpised I was to see that the Knights Templar lived and excavted King solomons Temple after the Fall of Jersuselem in 586. No one even noticed what I said. They looked at me like they had no idea what I was even talking about. For one of their fundamental teachings, these people don't know squat about their religion...At least I wasn't in hotwater for letting that one slip, my hubby did give me a stink eye though. Oh well, I hope it was a reminder to him that his religion is a sham.

recently I have been going to a new church called Christ the King. It's not a megachurch but smaller size. It's not in a typical church, rather they worship in a warehouse. Perhaps they call it a temple instead. I started this class the other called discovery and it does a rundown of christianity. I have no plans to jump the broom with this church, I am really more curious than anything and I really don't know whether I believe in Jesus or not. It seems to me that in the organization they didn't really promote a kinship like they do with Jehovah. For me this helps me learn about me and what I truly believe. Another aspect i like is that they are very social. Many different groups to join, in fact because I mentioned an adventure/explorer club, the next sunday they told me there are plans in the making all because of me. I do wonder if this is their versian of love bombing. I am so suspicious of all churches because of the WTS, I sometimes wonder if its all in my head. So going back to the discovery class, I am being taught the basics from a little book that has only scriptures and diagrams. The people that were the leaders, a husband and a wife, told me about themselves, they used to be party people I told them i was also one once upon a time. Probably not to the degree they were. The husband also told me that he believed in a different kind of evolution, where people in a different region look different because of their climates and food. I told him that I agree with him and how I have never understood how many different men from one place all look so different and they only came from 2 people, adam and eve. They also talked with me a bit about shunning. The told me that his old church wanted to shun a girl because she was pregnant and he didn't like the idea so he left, but he then explained that shunning is in the bible, but the JW's take it to in extreme. Their idea of shunning is you don't hang out with people that do bad things, but talking to them is fine. I never asked what they considered a "shunning offense." But with my suspicious attitude I wondered if these people we saying these thing in order to really find out if I am compatible with their church. Kind of like an interview. Am I ruined by the WTS, am I all out of faith. I wouldn't care if it is Budha or Judiasm. I need something because everytime I close my eyes, my mind fixates on death and how I cannot fathom the fact that I would no longer exist, at all ever again. Even if it is a lie, I need something to put my mind at ease and stop living in fear. I know what your thinking, cognitive dissonance from one religion to the other, just stay with the cult if that is how you feel. But if I am just going to live a religious lie, I want freedom to do what I want to do. I just want to be spiritually happy. I better stop now because I can go on forever.
Thanks for the ear
