Oh heck yeah, I got no problem playing basketball indoors in their Steak Houses, same as a big Church. But the boring church thing....no..no. Did enough of that as JW way to long.

Mormon, LDS, church
by free2beme ini have to go in to a mormon church for my son to practice his basketball games (he has a mormon coach and he is good).
as i walk in though, i tell you that it reminds me so much of a kingdom hall.
smells like one, has the same boring themes, etc.

Experimenting With New Ideas since leaving the WT
by lovelylil ini have always been intrigued about why we dream and recently signed up for a course on dream interpretation.
the course includes a great book written by sigmund freud.. this would have been oh soo taboo if i was still in the borg.
probably would have been df'd for it.. was wondering how many others out there have studied a subject or experimented with new ideas that "mother" would not have approved of since leaving the org, and what you learned from it?

Lovelylil - I really love those good dreams! From flying with no gear, just willing it! sometimes up high to very low to the ground. A very memorable one was in a field of tall grass with my palms up and my head down being thankful...the inner peace was PHENOMENAL!!! and would that you know I've seen that field since then, only the grass was not as tall....hmmm. I hope its all possible as some say it is..FLIPPER- you never seem to amaze me Bro! Esalen at Big Sur!

i know that the elders in my congregation will put some pressure into him as to not take it.
as a ms, i will also be put under pressure as to not give him any encouragement in that regards.

Hi Eden, its great thing to go to university, I am very happy my teen is doing what fulfills, Knowledge! THINK critically by Facione/Gittens 2013. Fantastic text book. Their Major is in medicine ect. To deconstruct the WTS: 100% failure rate and counting! Follow the links mentioned. As far as the congo thing. Oh well, as they say, its a personal choice but be prepared for the ??? Might open some eyes for the better, see through the LIES of the WTS........insoftr4

ananias and sapphira were christians.
they wanted to help the poor and so sold one of their possessions, a field, and gave most of the money to peter.

I agree with OP. Money! Like Matt 18:18 where men can retain sins. Jesus diciples had some major problems with pride!! Whoever stuck those words in there and a lot more for there own authority, control much like the WTS, ect. Who knows how much of it is the words of men?

Metatron: Many of us have that same dream. The internet has been huge exposing the WTS.. But I believe its going to get bigger. Too many have woke up to the corporate lies and not at all passive about how they feel. They need their families back and in tact! Some are militant and growing fast... Could this be the Key? There are movements in Europe, North America, Brazil, Australia and many other places. Organized but not an Organization.... LIES BY THEIR VERY NATURE ARE BOUND TO DIE...
