Who made Jehovah?
I would ask this when I was 4-5 years old.
for myself, there is an embarrassingly long list of things that really should really have woken me up, fully.
it was a long process for me, as a mind controlled born in, things i simply did not agree with, or knew were downright wrong, that built and built, and, eventually i woke up, after 58 bloody years in !.
but just mainly for fun, what should have woken you up ?.

can you believe this gibberish coming out of their mouths now; specifically from the clown-horse's own mouth :.
"things unfolding around us are making clear that ...(wait for it).."we are living in the final part of the last days, undoubtedly the final part of the final part of the last days, shortly before the last day of the last days"!!!!!!!!!!!!.
i wonder what next...ummmmm...final part of the final part of the final part of the finalpart...(on a recurring loop), you get the idea!.
"things unfolding around us are making clear that ...(wait for it).."we are living in the final part of the last days, undoubtedly the final part of the final part of the last days, shortly before the last day of the last days"
He said this, for real?
Lett has come out with some extremely dumb shit, but this takes the cake.
The one where he’s on about expresso coffee/train v Jehovahs express will.. mind numbingly stupid.
Talk about digging oneself a hole, what a moron
this topic is to focus on status updates & advice (no opinion or politics please).. status.
latest status is that it's serious, probably isn't going to be contained and most large companies are making contingency plans, cancelling large events etc... which i don't think would happen if it was just people being alarmist.
the incubation period means it may have already spread further and infected many more people than are currently known, so expect jumps in the numbers over the coming days and weeks.. tracking.
They really aren't
In Australia they really are, I know from personal experiences.
Arrive at 9am for two appointments, 10am and 11:30, get seen at 1pm for the 10am and they’ll reschedule the 11:30 for another time. This is not uncommon. I can tell you that the outpatients clinic at the biggest Childrens hospital in my state is constantly booked at 150%.
I can’t speak for Canada, UK or America, I doubt it gets much better though
that applies not just in this country.
.
i just thought it was worth mentioning.🤔.
In the same way as having fire breaks in the vast eucalyptus forests of Australia can protect the ecology, humans can also benefit from some segregation.
Someone should tell the lefties

You can't run your health-systems at peak level needed for a once-in-a-century outbreak such as this. That would be ridiculous
Of course, but our health systems are virtually at peak level 365 days of the year, with no room to absorb anything.
With the money Australia has wasted on stupid shit, funding blackholes like our stupid 50+billion dollar submarine scheme, we should have hospitals and equipment to spare. The only logistical problem should be finding the health care workers and Docotrs.
What’s a more reasonable expectation we should have of our governments, that we have plenty of vacant beds and medical equipment available on excess all year round, perhaps even entire hospitals lying idle?
Should we expect a health care system where kids are rushed out recovery after surgery, makeshift ICUs regularly at bedside, emergency departments overflowing and so on?
That’s why covid19 is dangerous, we are not holding our governments to account, hopefully this changes things

It is estimated that only 4% of the Australian population falls into the high risk category, their vulnerability does not make covid19 a death sentence by any means.
The real problem, and our politicians refuse to speak about it, is our hospitals and health care systems. They run at capacity as it is, we don’t have room for more patients.
There aren’t ICU beds lying idle, let alone wards of ICU beds. The beds are full, year round. Hospitals are understaffed and overworked, grossly underfunded and have been for some time.
There are some that live at the mercy of our health systems year in, year out, and post covid19 it won’t be any better.
It’s time for massive future investment into health infrastructure.
This relatively harmless virus is now hurting even the most wealthy and privileged.
The cost of not protecting or concerning ourselves with the most vulnerable people in society is now being paid
even if you are young and heathy there are very good reasons to fear this disease and take drastic actions to avoid it individually, and halt it together as communities.
not only would it be traumatic as a society to lose so many old and unwell family members and friends, but survivors of the disease may suffer significant health problems in the future.
survivors of the first sars virus in 2003 have suffered significant lung problems.
Herd immunity isn’t a political idea it’s actually a scientific concept.
It’s still very likely that this will become a seasonal with the majority building immunity.
That’s if society survives in the meantime.
of all the things people decided they needed to stockpile for a potential quarantine.
all of the stores around my area ran completely out of toilet paper this last weekend.
people were piling it into their carts and vehicles as if they were going to be holed up for a year.
In Australia, the closer you get to towns the bigger the cues of people outside supermarkets every morning.
A few of the major chains have announced that door stores will be opened only for the elderly and disabled for the first hour.
Very sad the way this is turning out. Our governments have failed us dramatically
hey!.
first of all i want to mention that i'm not a member of the jehovahs witnesses.
however i'm open and non-judgemental towards any kind of religion.
@Leonie
Yes this place can be a wonderful community, almost life saving for some who have needed it.
I was raised a JW and would scoff at evolution. It’s embarrassing, I feel stupid for that but am very grateful I started thinking for myself at almost age 30.
There have been so many supporters of creation and biblical nonsense come and go on this site, Cofty is giant in this place and his contributions to the ex-JW community are to be commended, he’s extremely helpful to many.
Stay safe everyone, let’s enjoy ourselves

Three blokes in my hometown of Brisbane in Australia have found a way to control the virus, it looks extremely promising at the very least at this stage.
Their research is based around spike proteins the virus uses to invade cells.
