Notice the cyclops star trek looking person on the left side in the third image? Is that suppose to be Satan?
I also noticed the Avaceratops appears to be smiling. Smiling Dinosaurs, it really was paradise.
i saw this at the visiting nurse book sale in february and it was too macabre to pass up.. .
the book is written by ken ham, an australian born, young earth creationist.

it was in this week's bible reading.
mark 6:21: "but a convenient day came along when herod spread an evening meal on his birthday for his top-ranking men and the military commanders and the foremost ones of galilee.".
look at the various renderings of this verse.
It serves a sign that true Christians who strive to avoid Satanic rituals, would not celebrate birthdays in the last days, which evidently began in 1914.

Cofty would like this book, he is into science.....
i'm sure many of us still remember these times when the organization used to sell food at conventions.. i also remember that when this was stopped, the official reason was that the "brothers" were missing some of the program because of all the preparations.
typical watchtower "pretend we care" excuse.. i've wondered if there is another reason behind it, tied to perhaps finances or logistics that was the real deciding factor.
history and typical "modus operandi" of the society tells me that if there was some money to be made that way, they would not have stopped.. wonder if anybody has more info on this..
It was one of Satan's Snares
Hard to narrow it down to one but maybe Suck On This by Primus
i'm still "in" and i've noticed an odd trend recently.
conversations with jws seem to be more jw-ish than ever!
in normal conversation, i'll hear: "these watchtowers are just wonderful!
I am not sure if it is more common but it is definently harder to listen to. Even when I believed it I hated those that anaylsed every word of the WT and then talked about the what 'society' is trying to tell us. The WT is so sacred to JWs, and when you know TTATT, all the WT analysis and praise just sounds so stupid that it is hard to know if it's becoming more common or just more noticeable. I have thought the same thing though.
The poor JWs are still thinking that any day now the UN will destroy false religion and then the fun can start, so they cling to every word that the GB says.
if the informaiton i am posting is redundant or has been posted, please forgive me.. i know we are all at different stages of this journey.
for me i am still "in" but working towards being out and leaving.
any one in this position or who has been here knows how diffucult of a time this can be.
I now how you feel. The society paints all apostates as evil crazies who lie and try and destroy other people's faith.
In reality waking up to TTATT is one of the saddest and most difficult things I have ever done.
I don't claim to have the answers, and I am not crazy or a liar. That description better suits the WT Society.
lately when we have our family study we have been just reading the bible alone, without wt spin.
however i really need to start asking her good questions that wont set off her apostadar.
so i ask you fine folks; what are some questions or ways i can use the family study to help her think and start using her own mind on key ideas.
A favorite JW scripture; Faith without works is dead. In the book of James somewhere. If you quote that scripture to any JW and ask what it means, they will describe the works that faith produce; preaching, meeting attendance and the general JW lifestyle. JWs feel that these works are evidence to identify their faith as the 'true faith'.
In context the scripture in James has nothing to do with preaching or typical JW works. It is about being hospitable and charitable towards others. JWs are not exactly focusing their ministry on looking after orphans, widows and giving food and shelter to the needy, but many people, Christian and non Christian, do these things. Maybe showing your wife scriptures like this, and seeing how JWs cherry pick scriptures and take them out of context to support their theology might help her wake up. You have to be subtle obviously. You could talk about the scripture in Corithians I think, that says salvation is not earned by works, but through faith. This one does not get a lot attention from the JWs, because they are a works based religion.
2 Peter 3:9 Is basically saying that Jehovah is delaying Armageddon because he does not want to destroy people but wants all to be saved. This scripture is in clear contradiction to WT theology, because the worlds population is increasing at a far greater rate than those that are coming into Jehovahs organization. It means that every year that Amargeddon is delayed, an extra 70 million+ people that will have to be destroyed.... if JWs are the only ones that will survive, which is what we are taught. This does not make sense, something to talk about maybe. All the best.
my friends usually walked me home after dark.
but one evening i was so tired that i decided to call a taxi.
the driver didnt take me home.
This is sofa king stupid I can't believe it.
So if a JW woman is getting raped, she should scream her lungs out, not because of the horrific and terrifying experience of being brutally violated, but because she has an obligation before Jehovah and the congregation to put up a fight. She should fear that she might get cast out of the congregation and lose her standing before God if she does not put up a fight.
The Society is stepping way over the line to even comment on how being raped could affect someone's relationship with God. Seriously. Imagine if you were a victim of rape and you read this crap. Such a disgusting crime and the Society shies away from condemning the criminals but heaps guilt and fear on innocent victims. They should just say that any form of sexual invasion or coercion is disgraceful and no woman should ever have to go through that.
So if an armed man broke into my house, and I was at home, and he started stealing my possessions, and I didn't put up a fight, I would be equally guilty of armed robbery? Or would the matter just be left in Jehovah's hands? Idiots.

I think Clive will die from heart attack before the ship is built, he is obese and extremely unhealthy looking.
