i hope they are well just know they have been unusually quiet..
Probably because they are Christians and this site can be a difficult place for Christians at times, especially the fundamental type.
Some believers have thick skin and will debate for page after page thread after thread. Others don't want their faith weakened or critiqued and when the heat gets a bit too much they leave the kitchen....?... Maybe?.... I don't really know, I'm just flapping my gums.

i've been cleaning out the closet (literally), and reminiscing about old times and decisions i didn't make.
it's times like these i regret being brought up as a witness the most.
Try not spending to much time dwelling on past regrets, what ifs and could have been thoughts. They can drive a person crazy. I have almost lost the plot completely by letting these things consume me.
Concentrate on now and appreciate what we have. Cheers, I will have a beer. Its only 4:30 in the arvo here and I am just home from work.

That is a great site. I read the article on the Johnsonn family who renounced Thursdays for their pagan origin.
They also defend against the accusations that the site is just satire.
I could tell some of my JW relatives about Jehovahs Trumpet and I don't think they would realize it is taking the piss.
Guilt free video gaming has been one major positive for me since learning TTATT. I still played violent games a little bit when I was in, but always felt kinda guilty. Now, 42 - 0 in a MW3 team deathmatch on my Xbox just feels all the more sweeter. GTA 5 looks splendid.
i never was a jw, and in many ways my interest was academic.
i have known, and know, some jws and ex-iws and know something of (but not personally) the effects that wtbts has on people.
the effects, imho, are not positive.
Probably not a great idea to ridicule peoples religious beliefs.
Lots of people ridiculed Noah when he was building the giant wooden box and look how that turned out for them. Or those kids that ridiculed that bald prophet and were ripped apart by the bear.
Just be careful, we don't want history to repeat.
no matter how many times i've tried, i just couldn't get through the whole thing.
you know, there were always those reminders to read the bible, have a personal study, go out in service, and.... the other two of the five things we were supposed to do i already forgot.
so, i constantly felt guilty that i just had no interest.
Don't tell me what happens at the end, I haven't read it yet.
