Excellent find Cedars, I watched all the series except number 5 as it's blocked in the UK. Thank you for pointing it out. It's amazing the similarities there are between JW and LDS.

Just wanted you to know, none of you are intriguing. Rather, you're all quite repulsive.
by Theocratic Sedition innot saying that's my personal opinion, but this week's congregation bible study asks the viewpoint question, "would apostate literature or internet sites intrigue you or repulse you?
"- jeremiah book, page 70, para 7. .
gotta love it.. i guess apostate sites are like crime scenes.

Possibly heard a Conscious Class public talk.
by lostinnj83 ini can't be certain but i found yesterdays public talk to be interesting.
it was on salvation.
the speaker read many scriptures from the bible and didn't mention anything about the organization being necessary for salvation, just jehovah and jesus.. i actually walked out feeling like i had learned something.. perhaps, he wasn't of the conscious class but in the very least he gave a nice non brainwashed message.. does anyone else think they have heard a conscious class talk given from the platform?.

The ten most embarrassing scriptures for Jehovah's Witnesses
by slimboyfat in1. mark 7:15 "there is nothing from outside a man that passes into him that can defile him; but the things that issue forth out of a man are the things that defile a man.. so how can eating black pudding or having a blood transfusion be a sin?.
2. roman 14:5 one [man] judges one day as above another; another [man] judges one day as others; let each one be convinced in his own mind.
so how come they say birthdays and festivals are a sin?.

I like Billy's suggestion, it can be read as a conversation starter by a thinking person, if he is still a thinking person!

How many of you here became inactive and went back for the second time and then left for good?
by FingersCrossed inand what were the reasons?.

Wow HB, what an amazing story, wishing you and hubby all the best on your new life together. I've only left once and until I read your story would have said I don't understand why anyone would go back a second time. Everyone's different, I do feel sorry for anyone who thinks they need to go to a cult in order go fix their problems.
