Thank you. I wonder why you are still affected by so called armageddon? Maybe try and replace these thoughts with happy thoughts such as your achievements, or good times with the family. I wish you peace and happiness.

Christmas is WRONG!
by thesaint inyou all should be ashamed of your egotistical selves.
how can you leave god's organization to celebrate the work of satan the devil?
it just goes to show you how jehovah's christian witnesses are correct about how persons will leave the truth for their own selfish desires.. first off, christmas is a pagan holiday and it proves no spirit with the almighty jehovah and his son, the christ.

I guess thesaint wasn't very good this year and didn't get any presents. I wonder if the tooth fairy ever visited them?

Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year. Did you hand out cards to neighbours? If so why not hand them in on Christmas morning next year, our neighbours had an endless flow of people stopping in, it might help get you into some Christmas cheer.

New here
by winnie12 inhey i'm new here, i've been reading up so much here and on other sites about tatt and it has really settled a nagging feeling of doubt within me.
truly i have been lied to and have been trapped in this cult.
i've been suffering with depression, anxiety, attempted suicide, hospitalization, anti depressants, loneliness all this while being in supposedly surrounded by "the happiest people" on earth.

Welcome here. I'd echo a lot of what has been said, does your dad know the policy on shunning? My dad was never a JW either and I've only just told him after 2 years of me being out (I faded but have decided to DA). He is very supportive but also shocked. If he has some relationship with your mum then over time he might be able to gauge her reaction were you to stop entirely. All the best on your journey.

You paint a good picture with your words. I'm enjoying the read. I did laugh at Frank Spence, there's a funny tv character from the UK called Frank Spencer and I pictured him!

Thank you for your interview, what a great line:I would rather face the future with tears in my eyes than turn my back to it to live in denial with a smile. All the best to you and yours.
