  If you believe God exists, what are your thoughts on what pleases him most?

  our family has come to believe that god really wants each individual to personally and independently seek, find and walk with him - quite apart from what other humans say, think, believe or do.. we believe we were created as semi-autonomous beings.

  when our inner compass is recalibrated, and we then self-direct, the outcomes seem best.. when we are instead led by humans, their hierarchies, organisations and ideas, the outcomes on the whole seem unfavourable.

  legalism (rules), moralism (a moral code), ethnocentrism (doctrine), and gnosticism (knowledge) may seem meritorious.. yet these do not seem to lead to the deep inner transformation needed.

  What pleases our Father the most is conforming to the image of his eternal Son, that was the plan conceived before creation Ephesions 1:5-11, Romans 5:14 and made possible as we participate in his death and resurrection to a new creation, that our baptism signifies. Phillipians 3:8-12

  Who is the true Faithful Slave?

  who the true faithful slave really is!.

  as we read through the parable of the faithful slave, uttered by jesus, it is, a serious error, to do as the governing body of the watchtower society does, conclude that there is merely only one master at issue in that parable.

  but a closer look at that parable, reveals that there are two masters in question in that parable, not merely only one.

  Well said.

  Recently it dawned on me when Christ did the seperation on his return, the wheat was FULLY MATURE, no need for further feeding, just reaping, it was finished. See my comment on Ephesions 4..Spiritual Feeding.

  Leaving _quietly **** No one would be dying during the Thousand Years, or so JWs believe.*****

  I always found it hard to believe that since Christ's resurrection and his return to sit on his Father's throne where all enemies become a footstool, that NOTHING in the heavens has been happening for the past 2000 years.

  I have been very impressed with amillenism and PARTIAL preterism escathology which seems to answer most of my question compared to all other types of escathology.

  Revelation 21:8 shows that "unclean" people (DEAD to God, unclean), will NOT enter the ALREADY ESTABLISHED New Heavens and New earth as mortality await it's final completion in immortality. Does this fit with your thoughts on Ezekiel's vision. ?

  Kepler **** Do you really think that the issue of 607 BCE is the only broken link in this chain?****

  Its the main issue that the WTBS uses in its erroneous end time date setting escathology of Christ's return that selects THEM as the ONLY channel that God will use. If the calculations are wrong, then they have no foundation for their authority and claims. Their whole existence hinges on the dates been correct. I believe this is the topic that is in discussion.

  On th other hand if you mean that the whole Bible is all error, then that's another issue. You are free to decide on that.

  Truth is revealed in God's Messiah that changes our Adamic nature to his divine nature. Biblical facts or Biblical inconsistencies are inevitably, a changed life is a witness that the Father's word are reliable as follows:

  Biometrics, Most JWs and possibly ALL elders will respond as Finkelstein stated above. To them it's NOT what the Bible says, its what the GB says the Bible says, even if they know they are wrong. This makes it a cult.

  Jehovah the Father gave us Christ Jesus to over come Satan, sin and death. If we have accepted the Son, and want a new life, we are on the way to changing the Adamic nature to Christ's nature, as that salvation is worked out in us. No Jewish law or legalistic religion can change our nature, it's a spiritual work of God. This enables us, as the power to salvation, to love our Father with heart soul and mind in surrender to Christs righteous and his shared union with us, and love our neighbour as ourselves.

  Sorry, you are correct it's not well worded. I'm trying to compare the fall of Babylon to the fall of Caanan. The book of Judges shows that the conquest of the land of Canaan in the book of Joshua was NOT as triumphal as reported.

  Apparently Exodus 23 explains this ......as follows

  Verse 28 mentions that God will drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite. Yet, the verse does not mention the other 3 nations mentioned in Verse 23.

  (The Amorites, the Perizzites and the Jebusites). Why is that? I couldn’t find any commentary on this point. Reading this verse in context of the most likely answer is the next verse, which is that God works a "little at a time". 23:29 I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate, and the wild animals multiply against you. 23:30 Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you become fruitful and inherit the land.

  I do not agree that Jeremiah 25:12-13 is a failed prophesy. I used the comparison to Canaan to show we may not have the complete picture.However it clearly shows That the 70 years is for the Babylon power.

  Yes, the father of the Adventist movement which spawned many groups one of which was the WBTS with all its date setting erroneous escathology.

  However, I have repect for Mr. Miller and the SDA, for the knowledge of the eternal condition of the dead, which the WBTS adulterated.

  what is the purpose of spiritual feeding from the gifts to mankind from christ in the brotherhood ?

  ephesians 4:11-16to build up the body of christians, that all members are matured in the knowledge of christ....thus we become the perfect man upon reaching maturity and sharing the fullness of christ.when are the weeds and wheat separated in christendom ?

  when the true christians reach maturity...they already are mature before the gathering....another argument against the role of a spiritual program for the brotherhood in 1919 or whatever, true christians are gathered because they are already mature.
