As mentioned some time ago by someone, there were 13 at the "NEW" covenant Passover, only ONE was annointed.
They all ate the bread in the wilderness even the alien resident, regardless of their position under Moses.

i am well aware that this thread could diverge into a discussion of the legitimacy of the watchtowers view of heavenly class and earthly class and what not.
... but that's not the thrust of my question.
i just replied to a thread about going to memorial and started thinking how after jesus started out no one talked about actually doing it after the initial time.
As mentioned some time ago by someone, there were 13 at the "NEW" covenant Passover, only ONE was annointed.
They all ate the bread in the wilderness even the alien resident, regardless of their position under Moses.

Welcome and greetings from Florida...
****Bear in mind prayer is a pet peeve of mine. I hold it absolutly sacred. I loath it when a brother rattles off a prayer like guzzling a bottle of beers***
When in the presence of God, I say nothing, and just welcome the reciprocation from the source to the one in me that makes it possible, and so perfect, like breathing.

i was contemplating this verse this morning... what did james mean by "works"?
and it hit me like a bolt of lightning.. now, wts would have us believe these "works" are preaching and meetings.
however, could that be what james was referring to?
Works OF salvation NOT works FOR salvation. .!!!!
The WBTS have a works FOR salvation system, based on performance and adherence to a legalistic code for preaching, dress, grooming and virtually every aspect of life.......
Works of salvation come from a changed heart that produce the attitude of kindness, and all that you mentioned as fruit of the spirit that guide us in our spirit filled life. This proves we are in a saved state, the fruits are seen in ones life and direct people to Christ, that caused that change.... NOT a living advertisement in a suit that direct people to a church or an organisation.

question to all those well versed in legal issues.
all jw's, when confronted with criticism, claim that apostates lie about the wt.
i always have wondered, given the litigious environment in which we live in western democracies, why the wts doesn't go after all those websites that publish so many "lies" about "the truth".. can this lack of action on the part of the wts be used as evidence of the truthfulness of the message in "apostate" sites such as jwfacts,.
Never a JW *** Knowing that the WT is not pursuing any legal action against "apostates", this question would possibly lead those JW's to reconsider their belief that "apostates" lie.*****
Excelent analytical assessment.
i had the following conversation with a brother ex-bethelite ,left in good standing to start a family and currently a po in his congragation .he regularly gives talks in district and circuit assemblies .we go way back so he tollerates my comments but he is a die hard .we had the following conversation recently.
me:" have you heard about the new light for the fds?
elder:"...is that something you read in an apostate website?".
**** it was because of this pedophilia case in Australia ,they want to escape the blame so they have to say that they are a theological arrangement .So what ? They do everything they can to protect the organisation .If they have to hide they have to hide"****
Good job Ray, you have exposed the motive for the "noo *ight" !
To the r&f they must obey them as FDS, but for litigation they are only "FDS in a theological arrangement" and so don't accept any liability for their policies..... The FDS who IS, who WAS, and who is to COME !

unless they get another extension, or armageddon comes first..

i have seen questions regarding how much jehovah's witnesses lie all the time on yahoo answers.
here is the latest question:.
jehovah's witnesses, is lying at any time something jehovah approves of?.
ChangeName****Hi again Pterist - I am learning the history from the source. I do not count on other people doing the research for me. Russell did expect the end of the gentile times. He did hope that he would be taken up to heaven. Like the 1st century Christians, he did not have full understanding of what the Bible prophesies meant and misunderstood much. From reading some of his writings, he knew that 1914 marked a significant year*****
The first century Christians had the TRUTH, they preached Truth, The Truth enabled them to be UNITED IN LOVE in their DIVERSITY, That Truth was a PERSON. John 14:6
God will not judge us by official church or organisational teachings, but by our true heart and life in view of our opportunities and the light we had. The WBTS trusts in their own doctrinal accuracy for salvation rather than trusting solely and wholly in Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
i slept horribly last night because of stress.
it's been a while since i had insomnia, but the meetings are slowly causing that disorder to make a comeback.
the " bible " study was one of the most messed up things that i have heard in a long time.
A little wine make the heart glad ! ....
