neverendingjourney: At the most, the Society could Biblically claim that people in the last days will get 120 years of warning like they did in Noah's day, as a few here have pointed out, taking us to 2034. And this is a stretch because (1) people supposedly lived longer in Noah's day so the ones alive at the start would not all be dead within those 120 years, and (2) it doesn't say Noah warned anyone during that time, though it may be implied in 2 Peter.

If Extraterrestrials are found existing, will people abandon the Bible?
by Kalos ini have heard people say: if space exploration proves extraterrestrials do exist, that would be the end of the bible (which teaches earth is the only place there is life).. i feel this will not happen, because already science proved certain views reflected in the bible are wrong:.
1) joshua stopped the sun to win the war (joshua 10:3).
2) satanthinking earth is flattook jesus to the top of the mountain so that all kingdoms of the earth could be visible to the eyes (to person like jesus, just saying is enoughwhy need a vision of all kingdoms of the earth.

Strange situation

the type / anti type change makes clear that they make a u-turn.. it's clear that with this changes the current doctrine are temporary.

I do hold the current WT leaders responsible for perpetuating doctrines that they probably know are wrong, like the blood doctrine. That's completely different, however, because it continues to actively endanger people. I don't see anyone advocating real violence against Jews today besides, of course, the Palestinians and various anti-semitic leaders in the Middle East.
Christianity today is not what it was in Martin Luther's time or even 100 years ago so in my mind it has nothing to do with past persecution of Jews. A modern Christian has no violent urges against Jews and is more likely to pray for them out of pity.
