Prime... according to the same scriptures we as humans have a law written inside of us... Sane people know that by THAT law it is absolutely immoral to NOT prosecute people who abuse children and to NOT file charges against these people. They are filth of the earth and are not needed in ANY society especially not a society which states it's origines are from God.

God does NOT want to protect child molesters... so why does the organisation put themselves above God? Ever conscidered that it may be out of arrogance (and insanity)? Have you ever conscidered that they may not be God's organisation but a Satanic , moneylusting coverup?

The striking stick they always use is that you have to "wait for Jehovah"... so in their "humble" opinion it does not matter when the teachings change... what DOES matter is that you obey WITHOUT questioning... CULT CULT CULT!

Can this logic be refuted?

i was an elder until march 2012 until i resigned.

i then stopped going to meetings in october 2012 and have enjoyed 9 months of freedom that i have found to be jouful!

i loved learning ttatt and sites like this and jwfacts.com have been excellent.. i told the elders that i needed a break and that they should not contact me unless it was a social visit and true to their word they have done that.

@CrazyGuy: beware of those talks: it is a trap. They told me: "if you know a religion that is better according to the bible then please tell us so that we can also follow that" ...

example: if I had said: well... I think the Baptists tell the truth since I have visited them then they do not even have to hear ya further... then can disfellowship you at the spot.

Beware of traps... that is why I say you do not have to answer to them... they might trap you since they have hidden agenda's

you are aware that i am not present this evening following medical advice from our family doctor.

i will attempt in this letter to give you some idea of why that is and how i feel.

Dear Besty,

In one word: WOW!

It is very hard to have family that is so heavily influenced that they stab you in the back like your brother did. My brother told the brothers also about my "apostate" mind and, although I did not get a JC yet, I feel betrayed.

Your letter is proof that people can still have faith in Christ and that they can handle a lot of shit that people are throwing over them.

I wish you and your family the best and be assured of the fact that you do not have to fight this battle alone :)

Notsurewheretogo: If I may give you one suggestion: do not even try to come with evidence since they will see it as a hostile action against the GB (aka as THE faithfull slave since 2013). It is better to stay low profile in your case. I know you are right... I have done my research as well... but people under mindcontrol will put everything aside.

Also note that you are, in NO way, obliged to let them visit you for these matters. It is your God-given right to say: "sorry guys... do not want to talk about it".

If... for some reason you still feel you need to present them with evidence then I urge you to tell them you will tape it or that your wife is in the house since you, from your part, have no witness and they are with two persons. Most of the time they will back off. They do not like to be "taped"

In case they want to come up with a JC you at least have proof to show not only them but your family as well.

when jw's come to my door, i don't tell them i am an ex, just because they will move on and you will not have helped them see the obvious.. so i show them this scripture, and the new wt of july 2013 makes it even easier to confirm that new light is just moving the goalposts.. if jehovah really exists, they are in for some heavy crapstorm from him!.

deuteronomy 18: 20-22:.

20however, the prophet who presumes to speak in my name a word that i have not commanded him to speak or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die.. 21and in case you should say in your heart: how shall we know the word that jehovah has not spoken?.

Lol... the funny thing with the WT$ is that they always say: we never prophecied in his name... but at the same time they CARRY his name and call themselves his witnesses... now THAT is some sneaky twisting and turning

Your worst store accident?

mine: i was walking around a grocery store with one of those snapple iced tea boxes dangling from one hand, looking for the other thing i ran in to buy.

suddenly the flimsy cardboard side of the box came unglued, and bottles dumped out, smashing open on the floor.

a river of iced tea began to run down the aisle.

When I worked in a grocery store I had a couple of accidents but one of the biggest ones was that I was filling the wine and pushed the rest behind... I kept filling but suddenly on the OTHER side of the cabinet the wine fell off! There was no "wall" in between the cabinets there (where there should have been one)... about 6 bottles of wine fell on the floor (6 litres of the heavenly juice!). That was a messy thing to clean up for sure!

let's exclude all those who you are already friends with, who you know and love from jwn in real life.

so or me, that excludes my friend ann and also curious butterfly.
