the thread about urban legends got me thinking and i remembered this one which i was told quite recently which definitely deserves its own place.. a few weeks back i was told by an elder that the 'brothers' are saying that the catholic church is to be disbanded with immediate effect by the un because of child abuse coverups which apparently disqualifies it as a 'charitable organization'.. (no siggering!).
he also claimed that it was headline news.. this is of course mad wishful thinking on their part and i was staggered to think that anyone could believe such nonsense but would be very interested to hear if anyone else has heard this.. forgive me if this has already done the rounds but it was news to me..
These are the moments every individual should ask to come with solid proof... "it was even on the headlines"... no shit: if it was please tell me the data and the newspaper/television station please. That would stop the conversation for sure.
i must admit i was slow to wake up to the search button to find out about a subject which may have been thrashed to death years ago.only to try to revitalise it in my ignorance.
this is not a fault with newbies .bear with me .i am not computer literate .but is it possible or even plausible that newbies are given a basic instruction on how to find information using the search function ?

Now THAT is the key ladies and gentlemen! The two "groups" can not by any means be backed up by scripture. Even with all the flipflopping the way of thinking was normally backed up (even if it was very irrational). In this situation it is just jumping to conclusion without even backing it up properly!

aparantly the un's motto this year is "peace and security" 1 thes 5:3 "whenever it is that they are saying peace and security then sudden destruction is to be instantly upon them just as the pangs of distress upon a pregnant woman aand they by no means will escape".. according to this scripture the "end" should already be here since peace and security has already been declared by the un; i do wonder if this was done on purpose as a slap in the face to wtbs, due to them gb declaring the un a wicked and destable thing.. i would love to hear your thoughts on this matter.. honeybucket.

One of the "Urban Legends" was actually in a Yearbook (70's I think). There was an highly ranked SS-officer (at the deathmars) who was swearing against Jehovah or something and the next day he was dead because he was stung by thousands of red ants...
