Confusedandalone is in need of a name change
by confusedandalone inhey everyone, i want to apologize for not rtesponding to a number of messages i recieved over the last month or so.
i took a break as suggested by someone else to try and sort things out and clear my head.
my wife has been reading alot on here and kept me updated on all the fun that has been going on!.

HI ConfusedandAlone... it is very nice to hear from you :) ... although you are in a much shittier position then I am I also have been through the process of rereading the bible without the rose glasses and just throwing it in the bin figurely since it does not prove God any good.
It is not that I do not believe in a diety... I just do not believe in the bible or any book. So I may conscider myself a Deist I guess.
It is also nice to read that you are not wanna play the game by their rules and I hope you will stick to that plan.
About your family... I truly do not understand how ANY family would act like that but since we have been JW it is clear that these things do happen too often. I hope that some day their eyes will open up and they will see what kind of shitheads they have been in the past.

If in the beginning there was A god called "the word" then the Jews were Polytheistic in the first place... since everyone learned that only one true God existed it is strange to name another one in the same verse (if it was the same one or a lesser one does not make a difference in that situation).
Besides... I am no longer trying to make sense of the Gospels :P

why using a tablet at the platform during the meeting?

As a company they need to change and look more "cool". It starts at the platform! For me it was just showing off and I must say that I really hate to see it happen. I even get annoyed at all the ipads I see at the assemblies!

Jesus sacrifice and animal sacrifice contradiction
by trackregister99 inromans 3:25 says that jesus sacrifice was applied to the past for sins forgives.. then why god request animals sacrifice like "shadow of the good things to come" (hebrews 10:1) if the jesus sacrifice forgive sins to the past.. the animal blood not have none value, because jesus sacrifice was applied to the past.. why sacrificies for forgive of sins was requested by god if romans 3:25 says that jesus forgive the sins to the past?..

We see here that it is absolutely normal to kill animals and farm them and kill them... long live the bible :D HOOORAHHHHH
On a side note I want to add this: if they were made for destruction why are the JW's tought that these animals would be nice to eachother in paradise? It is absolutely bullocks according to their own book of power

Mr Fool... even if you come with that "evidence" they will always say that the methods of measuring the dates are falsified or not accurate enough. The evidence is overwhelming that humans have been longer then 6000 years but because of the floodstory the WTBS states that all the older date theories can not be accurate. And so the circle is round again ;)

New Urban Legend: Catholic Church to be 'disbanded'
by erbie inthe thread about urban legends got me thinking and i remembered this one which i was told quite recently which definitely deserves its own place.. a few weeks back i was told by an elder that the 'brothers' are saying that the catholic church is to be disbanded with immediate effect by the un because of child abuse coverups which apparently disqualifies it as a 'charitable organization'.. (no siggering!).
he also claimed that it was headline news.. this is of course mad wishful thinking on their part and i was staggered to think that anyone could believe such nonsense but would be very interested to hear if anyone else has heard this.. forgive me if this has already done the rounds but it was news to me..
