We had jw employees who were embezzling/slandering/breaking contracts, you name it. We had all the evidence to prove and disprove, it did not matter. We requested a lie detector and said we would take one also(we would pay for it). You think with all the evidence we had would have been enough, but NO. Because we requested a lie detector test WE WERE NOT CHRISTIANS, BECAUSE WE WANTED TO RELY ON A WORLDLY DEVICE THAT IS NOT ACCURATE. It really didn't matter who was right or who was wrong. They wanted us gone! My hubby was the PO (we were sent to this troubled cong).

The bottom line was...you go to the police..you get DFD, that's WTS justice.

Yes, child molestation is far more serious than what happened to us, but the proceedure is the same. All crimes are to be dealt with within the cong., their way. If you are the victim, you must remain a victim to prove your loyalty to the WTS.

Met Leander Today&Experience w/ family

just thought i would post this experience for the jw.com board.. today was the first time i actually met someone from this website, and oh what an interesting time it was.. seeing as in how leander and i live only a matter of minutes from one another, after talking on the phone for several weeks, we finally arranged to meet.. leander's personal experience leading him to write a formal letter to his local congregation last week has sparked a flurry of events for him in recent days, and i felt obligated as a person to try and support him through his process.. possessing a vast library of wtbts literature dating back well over 50 years, i was able to show him in person the contradictions so readily apparent within their articles, and demonstrate how time and again the jw-sect have wavered back and forth, hither and thither on doctrine allegedly inspired by the very hand of god.. it was a very fruitful experience, but this is where it gets interesting.. trying to determine an acceptable place to sit down and go over the documents.. his place was rendered impossible because his hardcore, loyal jw wife and her family were at his home.

being a saturday, the library was closed, and with a literal totebox full of books (well over 40lbs) and brochures, anywhere else public such as a bar or bookstore (can you imagine walking in with a totebox of books?

) was not logical.

Reborn, you gave this guy a lot of great info and it really opened up his eyes, but it was your Mom and your family that gave the 'true' witness. You opened up his eyes, but your Mom's actions gave him VIBERVISION. Remember, also, that your Mom is acting out in fear and what she said is probably hurting her up inside. Let her know how much what she said to you hurt you. Be kind, but let her know, that what she said was very cruel and very damaging to you. I'm sorry that this happened to you, really I am.

well we did it, 45 people were present for the first candle light vigil for silentlambs around the world.

holly and heather berry were there along with many other victims who told stories, sung songs, and recited poems that were self composed to help them deal with abuse issues.

there were many touching moments where you could feel the heartbreak and pain suffered by the expressions made.

Did Bill Bowan cancel and not show up for his committee hearing? I think it is called rescheduling. They schedlued a certain time to meet with them, however, Mr. Bowan had other obligations at that time, so he informed them that he would meet with them AT A TIME THAT WOULD BE CONVENIENT FOR HIM...bla, bla, bla. Bill has provided the written correspondence for all here to see and let's not forget DATELINE, NUMEROUS NEWSPAPERS, TV & RADIO TALKSHOWS, AND INTERNATIONAL NEWS PROGRAMS. I'm sure that Bill would be most happy to help clear up any misunderstandings that you have. OBW, did Bill make up the rules for a JC hearing, I viewed it as him complying to meet with them. He did show up, the JC didn't, so who made up the new rules? As far as making a mockery of Jah, the WTS is doing a mighty fine job of this all by themselves. AMEN

JUST FOR THE RECORD the elders on my JC (the entire elder body) wouldn't allow my witnesses in the door and this was in June of 2000. Nothing like having to deal with watchtower justice.

New rules, new light, new elder body...I can see it coming about soon, so they can somehow justify their actions or shall we say their lack of actions.

I''m so proud of you! Ben & I couldn't be there due to 'no money', but we sure were there in heart. This is the first, I guess, to be shunned by your own JC. What's the world coming to. Maybe Holy Spirit ran out and couldn't be present. My JC continually kept asking me if I thought that Jah's Holy Spirit was present, maybe that's why they did the 'NO SHOW' thingy.
