Noah a Preacher of Righteousness?
by Spoletta induring the watchtower study today, i browsed genesis and looked for evidence of noah ever preaching to anyone.
from what i could glean from the scriptures, it was a foregone conclusion that noah's family would be it on the ark.
(unless they towed some rafts behind) my wife says that building the ark could be considered a witness of his faith to the wicked world, but that seems kind of lame to me.. so, should i just assume that god decided not to give anyone else a chance for redemption?

Honest Questions About Child Abuse
by Richard Oliver ini have two honest questions for everyone here.
i understand that most here want retribution from the courts against watchtower for child abuse allegations.
but let us take away the instances where someone was accused of child abuse and then later put back into a position of authority, such as an elder or an ms. let us just take the cases where a regular publisher or even an appointed person, with no previous accusation of child abuse has come up against that person.

I think its because the organisation imposed strict laws regarding this as a type of slander towards the organisation or more so "bad publications in the papers", so they cover it up so the WT's REP will remain intact. a lot of cults/churches/institutions do this. its a poor practice that laws alone cannot change. the people need a voice. + why sue a man with 100k when you can sue a cult with 1 billion....

this is exactly what seems to be happening, a believer runs in drops the stink bomb and runs out again...only to pear around the door when he/she deems it safe to do so.

i dated a jw lady for 3 months ., we never had sex, just made out , half naked , well everything except underwear .
she has been a jw for 40 years ., was married to a jw but he committed adultery 13 years ago so they divorced .

don't bother with the elder, they will answer a question and uses misdirection to make an answer seem to "fit" your questions, also theyre rehearsed in like 90% of what youll ask them because its what theyre consistently bombarded with and they know that your right I theyre smart and you will see their expression and how they sit/stand and you will know your breaking them xD

bro, you need to teach her how to use logic first, then help her see how wrong it is.. this is what I did to my gf after she went its all lies.... now she hates them, her sister hates them, and the only one left in the cult is her mother XD -

Demon possesion, bunch of crap or?
by raven ini've been using the forum to vent and post a lot more frequently lately as a venting purpose & way to obtain peace of mind with the craziness i've been going through recently as i fade away form the org.
anyways today i'm sitting here at work and thinking to myself about demons... ok i know this sounds crazy but has anyone else out there been traumatized by the thought of demons?
i had a dream the other night, just flat out spooky and i woke and couldn't help but feeling it may have been evil ole' satan and his demons at it again.. i don't want to believe that, (trying not to, & just brushing it under the rug so to speak) but have any of you out there been talked up about demons?

OK, I BELIEVE THEYRE REAL. purely based on my own experiences with multiple people where I would see shadows(silhouette of a man with a old style bowler hat) not only did I see them but I have seen them while with other people and they have seen them too. recently ive been seeing bright lights which just vanish, also If I'm out walking the fields and I'm on my way home and the sun has left I will get bright lights show me mysurroundings as if the sun was shining, People have also seen a "man" near me but when I answered the fon and they told me where to look there was nothing....apparently as a child my mother referred to my "best friend" being a "ghost" and it would hide my stuff on me, but then she said I came back from the stream one day and had told her I had killed and buried my friend(ghost)..... LOL DONT WORRY ABOUT IT. from my experience they've helped save my life a few times. they also leave on command too! really don't worry JW is run by satan anyway.
