  Just curious about how faithful women are these days. Anybody know?

  so being someone who is not, however still believes around 70% of what the jw's talk about as far as the bible goes, ignoring the fact of no blood transfusions, shunning, etc.

  wt doctrines, i got this question.

  anybody really know how faithful 'worldly' (i use this term lightly 😉) women are these days?

  women are more likely to cheat then men however are not usually caught. basically stems from raising offspring from the most alpha male they see.... youd be amazed how many kids men parent without the knowledge the kid isn't theres :) always get a DNA test if they don't look similar to you ;)

  i have two honest questions for everyone here.

  i understand that most here want retribution from the courts against watchtower for child abuse allegations.

  but let us take away the instances where someone was accused of child abuse and then later put back into a position of authority, such as an elder or an ms. let us just take the cases where a regular publisher or even an appointed person, with no previous accusation of child abuse has come up against that person.

  i have two honest questions for everyone here.

  i understand that most here want retribution from the courts against watchtower for child abuse allegations.

  but let us take away the instances where someone was accused of child abuse and then later put back into a position of authority, such as an elder or an ms. let us just take the cases where a regular publisher or even an appointed person, with no previous accusation of child abuse has come up against that person.

  there are no laws for the rich. corrupts is ripe in all countries. youd be amazed what happens when a brown envelope is passed around.

  Richard, to actually move on, one would work through the state of denial - and admit just how bad the Watchtower organization is. That you were a part of and supported it maybe for years. Not easy.

  With just a little research you will find it very similar to other destructive cults - kind of like Scientology on tranquilizers. Human beings have been attracted to cults since the dawn of time, it seems. And have escaped.

  Many here have moved on quite nicely in their personal lives. They come here to support others who are coming out and going through the trauma of being shunned, and of having been duped. There are some wonderful friendships that have been formed here - some (about 40 this year) travel long distances to meet every summer for a campout. All of them are kind, honest and great friends.

  Another reason to come here is to educate jw lurkers and current members about how dishonest, heartless and destructive the watchtower is.

  Some posters showed up here suicidal and have made it through to a good free life.

  If that's not for you, good luck on your journey. Some here will be very blunt because there is really not time to waste being polite about the watchtower. You are welcome here - if you can take some heat in disagreement. This thread you started has been a good one.

  How about if the lawyer,is a GawdDamn Catholic?!..

  Noah a Preacher of Righteousness?

  during the watchtower study today, i browsed genesis and looked for evidence of noah ever preaching to anyone.

  from what i could glean from the scriptures, it was a foregone conclusion that noah's family would be it on the ark.

  (unless they towed some rafts behind) my wife says that building the ark could be considered a witness of his faith to the wicked world, but that seems kind of lame to me.. so, should i just assume that god decided not to give anyone else a chance for redemption?

  I think its because the organisation imposed strict laws regarding this as a type of slander towards the organisation or more so "bad publications in the papers", so they cover it up so the WT's REP will remain intact. a lot of cults/churches/institutions do this. its a poor practice that laws alone cannot change. the people need a voice. + why sue a man with 100k when you can sue a cult with 1 billion....

  come on a believer, everyone knows it was you so own up to it and teacher will not be cross!.

  this is exactly what seems to be happening, a believer runs in drops the stink bomb and runs out again...only to pear around the door when he/she deems it safe to do so.

  idk maybe hes referring to molesting a kid, hiding behind the watch tower, hiding a few weeks when everything is covered up then mixing back in with his congregation :)
