So watchtower's god will listen prayers only when you tilt your head and put your hands together. No alternative. Especially when you at public place. Otherwise you can't expect watchtower's god friendship. How then to understand Jesus' words :"And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward."(Mat.6:5) JW teaching their children to be hypocritical..

..just some thoughts.
God knew everything from the beginning. Satan sinned from the beginning, not in earthly Edem. Angels became demons before that also accordingly (Ez.28:16-19, 1 John 3:8) So people creation was a plan to provoke and condemn Satan and demons who killed people, since they are immortal and not able to die even after their rebellion.(again 1 John 3:8, John 8:44, Rom.9:14-26). Finally, faithfull will get heavenly life, as it supposed to be after people would fill the earth.
Tree of good and bad- The phrase in Hebrew: tov V'ra, translatable as good and evil, may be an example of the type of figure of speech known as merism. This literary device pairs opposite terms together, in order to create a general meaning; so that the phrase "good and evil" would simply imply "everything".(wiki)
So it was tree of knowledge about 'everything', probably everything about God's purpose, that was ' sacred secret' . People sin was not the eating from tree, but disobedience. Probably God intend to give them tree's fruit at its time. But they just went ahead him and were confused because of they saw after that, since they weren't ready . That is why God is telling:"Here the man has become like one of us in knowing good and bad". In what sence sinful man could became like God? Knowing everything about God's purpose, that didn't know even angels at that moment. And notice please, that even after sin people could continue to live if they would eat from tree of live.
But that didn't change that purpose, since-once again- God is..telling from the beginning the finale, and from long ago the things that have not been done; the One saying, ‘My own counsel will stand, and everything that is my delight I shall do’. -

I think they will not do, at least not soon. If they will change it, they will need to rewrite whole their Revelation book, as well as their Isaiah and Daniel prophecy interpretations. That's not a matter of few years. It is not a problem for them to claim in 2014:"Look, Jehovah is so patient - gave to humanity 100 years for repentance and still waiting for sincere people, that are coming to his org. Can we follow him and proceed to do more to help people during these last hours of these last days of these last days of these last years of this wicked system!"

In post Soviet Union countries indeed was tremendous grow after communism failed. A lot of people were converted. Spiritual hunger,obvious hypocrisy of some church leaders, failed hope of communist promises, free of charge JWs literature with nice pictures of earthly paradise, made profitable base for JW recruiting. And even now, although grow is not as big it was 20 years back, consequences of communist rulership, such as ineradicable corruption at every institution, low moral level ect, assist to JW false prophesying about "last days" and upcoming salvation.

Hi! I am new here, still JWs elder, that doesn't attend meetings and don't participate in any JW activities since october 2012. I would leave org. right away, but will try to be inactive as long as possible because of our with wife parents.

Thanks! I really learn a lot from this forum. And it still helps me somehow to fill this vacuum we feel after we left org. and people . It is not easy to start new life, especially for us, since we've moved to another country 2 years back and just started new life but within org.. I stopped all contacts with numerous people we knew at few countries. We don't want to converse with noone, except parents. Thankfully, they don't shun us..yet.. But thanks God we are never alone. Finally, after spent a half of life in that org. we really found real TRUTH!

Me and my wife started to read R.Franz books after this "new light" and C.Conti's case. I got these books already more than 5 years, but I wasn't ready to dig deeper. But this time I felt that it's enough for me. We were pioneers and I were service overseer lately. We stopped attend the meetings nearly 3 months back, although I am still formally an elder. We will not come back there ever again. Our families almost all are JWs.. I was blind, but now I see, thanks God. Awakening was very quick. Never expected that it will happend to us..But don't feel any regrets.

Dear Gorby! I share you feelings. I am from former Soviet union, was searching for Truth all my life, was baptized 12 years ago as JW, 8 years regular pioneer, was sefving in 3 countries, 7 years elder, Service overseer and have to pick up Theocratic ministry school overseer`s responsibilities. All my family active JW,- elders, pioneers and bethelites. A lot of 'friends' across the world. I don't know how will look like my new life without watchtower. But I feel free and confident with my TRUE Christian Freedom.. ..sorry, it's my first post..
