Your Experience with Resigning as an Elder

i'm considering resigning as an elder.

i'm not planning to fade or stop as one of jehovah's witnesses, just stop serving as an elder.. i have responsibility in the congregation and in circuit, district, rbc, etc.

and i'm completely exhausted.

rely on Jehovah and continue as an elder- it's a privilege through his Holy Spirit and blessing from him, so He will will help you.

It's his organisation- remember this.

top concerns: good mpg; reliable; in not having major issues like ball joints breaking, timing belts breaking, etc.

not too expensive to maintain.

Jesus sacrifice and animal sacrifice contradiction

romans 3:25 says that jesus sacrifice was applied to the past for sins forgives.. then why god request animals sacrifice like "shadow of the good things to come" (hebrews 10:1) if the jesus sacrifice forgive sins to the past.. the animal blood not have none value, because jesus sacrifice was applied to the past.. why sacrificies for forgive of sins was requested by god if romans 3:25 says that jesus forgive the sins to the past?..

everything is very simple- Jahwe wants blood! He doesn't care, whose blood- animals or humans. but finally, He concluded, that he wants blood of his son. so satan killed Jesus, and Jahwe is happy last 2000 years..He is looking forward to Armaggedon- that will be the show! billions dead bodies, tons of blood!..

How long since you have prayed?

its been probably five years for me.

i don't miss it a bit.

i was a slacker when it came to prayer.

I never was able to get necessity of prayer in context of Jesus words "So, do not make yourselves like them, for God YOUR Father knows what things YOU are needing before ever YOU ask him."
Ok, then, if he knows what we need better then us, what the reason for prayer? If he is able to see humans hearts, what for to spend your time to explain him something? In that perspective it's a wasting of time.
We stopped pray at bedtime few years before we left WTS..Almost the same with meals prayers. After quit reading and believe in Bible- quit to pray at all.
What changed? nothing.. IF GOD really exist- I believe, he knows better, what we need..But if he exists and knows better, what we need AND in the same time NEEDS us to ask him about such things otherwise we will not get them,- I dont need such god.

i have spent most of my life feeling like i am a loser.

i have been compensating for those messages most of my adult life.

zed, being loser means that you have what to lose- which is good!
if someone are not losing anything, means he possess nothing..
Last thing I lost was my flight last week, which costs me 2000$

Something odd just happened when I logged on!

i typed in my name, password and the captcha, expecting to see my name come up in the top right corner and what i actually saw was someone else's name!

(the name was another member of this board).

i looked at it for a few seconds feeling a bit puzzled and not sure what to do about it and as i looked it automatically changed (whithout me doing anything) back to my own name.. has anyone else had this happen to them?
