So between 1947 when this article was written by the then GB, and 1952 when disfellowshipping was started by JW`s, what changed the GB`s mind? Was it god, or was god wrong in the first place?

Jw's get caught up trying to define who qualifies as a neighbour. The argument is redundant.
Jesus taught that the Samaritan man who helped the beaten person was the true neighbour.
YOU should be the good neighbour. No one else can be judged as one or not. Its what YOU do to help anyone.

Do natural disasters happen because Eve ate an apple? No.
Wether you are perfect or not, you will die if a widow maker gets you in a storm, or freeze to death in a snowmaggedon, or fall down a fault in the earth.
We will always cry over dead relatives. No such thing as perfection.

You can believe what the bible says all you like, prophets and all. That is not evidence for an existing god. And certainly nowhere near enough to say you have a close personal relationship with him.
Again, where is this 'evidence' that you speak of? I truly want to draw close to this god, only he doesnt answer any prayer that i or others have muttered for me, and he wont or cant help a single starving child.
He cant stop earthquakes or tsunamis, or does he turn away and close his eyes when these things happen?
This 'god' of whom people speak of is your imaginary friend that hands you a blanky every time you get scared of dying.
