PEOPLE SUCK

Maybe its time to say goodbye to Christmas
by Qcmbr inas an aside to the xmas thread maybe we have come to the point where chistmas should be xmas and used purely as a santa , snow and stuffed turkey holiday and christians should move their christmas celebration elsewhere.
as an xtian i find it really hard to concentrate on anything remotely spiritual at christmas (except the giving bit and family time which is luvely) and i would be happy to spend an xmas without guilt just lapping up the decadence in a turkey and ginger beer induced haze and to have a different time to pay my devotions to god.
christians nicked christmas from the pagans - its probably time we gave it back.

OUTNFREE: Time For Some "Big Up-ing"
by RAYZORBLADE infolks, i seldom use my alloted topic starters, but i chose to start one with a specific member in-mind.. outnfree: outnfree (she has an interesting way of utilizing capital letters/none at all).. ok...i am having a hard time not giving this woman, some big time credit.. she's a lovely woman.. i've met her; i've hung out with her more than a few times on both sides of the canada/usa border.. she's extremely kind; thoughtful, balanced and very wise.
i will capitalize: w i s e .
i sometimes wish i could be there in suburban detroit to show her how much i appreciate the good she inspires.

Triathlon results with pictures.
by Princess ina few weeks ago i posted about having some difficulty with my swim training for an upcoming triathlon.
well, i finally was able to overcome it and the swim clicked with me last week.
i was able to swim across the lake and back without panicking twice last week.

I told the brothers......
by defd inat the meeting sunday that i visit this site.
and man we had a long heated discussion.

Christianity on the threat of DEATH..
by GetBusyLiving inif someone held a gun to your head and threatened to blow your brains out unless you worshiped jesus and went to church, which christian church would you choose?
no pansy churches like the unitarians though.
