  new strategy to da/df millions who have left.

  i'm wondering if there isn't a new policy of da'ing all those who no longer attend or are inactive "publishers" (find that in the bible!).

  i've read a number of threads on this board whereby people are now being hunted-down, nazi-fashion, if when queried, "are you one of jw?

  the elders came over this morning as promised.

  he called before to explain why so as not to show up under false pretenses.

  he said yesterday when he called, he was with a service group so he said he was an "old friend" and wanted to come visit.

  i would like to know how many people here are thinking of going back to the hall if the elders go and visit them.

  we had stories of people telling the elders that they had enough and wanted to get out.

  on the other hand, i am sure a few will go back, but we will not hear their stories as much because they fear the reaction of this board.

  Who believes in Ghosts?

  i watched a movie on tv the other night called "the others" with nicole kidman.

  it got me thinking about ghosts.

  of course, my jw thinking automatically kicks in and tells me that its.........come on, you all know the answer.......demons.

  Who likes winter?

  well, today is the first day of winter.

  winter here in canada is cold and long.

  we have about 4 to 5 months of damn snow every year.

  I don't care much for winter,here in Nova Scotia,it snows than rains.Gets freezing cold than mild and damp.We have the oddest weather here in winter. I hate bundling up.

  I looove summer.....summeeer!

  I have to say I like spring as well,I love the blossems.

  My dilemma

  i have been associated with the jws all my life, recently turning 50 years old.

  i was a true believer, a hard working elder, very zealous for the truth, a pillar in the congregation, and a fine speaker and teacher.

  i even served in an extremely difficult foreign land for a while with my family.. i always knew we had our problems, but felt that it was my responsibility to effect change from within.

  Jesus plays in our salvation, that Christ commanded his followers to be his witnesses, not Jehovahs Witnessess

  That is always something I thought of as well,I agree with you 100%

  You have to make sure you make the choice that you will be able to live with,and truley be happy.Seeing the real truth the scriptures and preaching the JW way, would that be hard on you?

  The best choice I made was learning the history and reading the bible on my own.I have explored other religions,but came to the point I don't believe any religion has all truth.
