i finally gave all my meeting clothes the heave-ho!!
i've been on a closet cleaning binge and finally decided it was time to donate all of these old things to a local women's shelter.
i figured some of these ladies may have nothing decent to wear if they need to go job hunting, so my old meeting clothes, shoes, and handbags would at least serve a noble purpose in their recycled lifetimes.. for some reason, i hung on to them for the last several years, knowing full-well that i would never set foot in a kingdom hall ever again.
Yay for you! It feels great to get rid of everything that was associated with the JW's.
It was just a few months back,that I threw away my books.Always held onto them for references...but naaaaaw.I just don't care any more and want no mementos of the place.Clothes,went a few yrs back....they were fulgy anyways!

Hmmm sounds close to home ..... My man would miss me ,when he runs outta clothes and towels!
I know I have family,that would miss me,there are people here,I would miss and there are some people who left this board,that I still think about and wonder how they are doing.

the sad news he has cancer.it is lymphoma!!!
they are waiting on the results of the biopsy before determining treatment..... he didnt want me to say anything at first- as he feels you all have your own problems & he didnt want to upset anyone-because he says "they are dear friends".

i had this big macho guy who used to work for me and when i would stop by his trailer, (not kidding) to pick him up for work, (dui and again, not kidding) on his way out the door he would give his redhead, stripper girl friend, (see above) a peck on the cheek and walk over to his pit-bull, ( ) and just lavish all manner of love and affection on that big, ugly, and very stupid dog!

"it was your unreasonable and reckless conduct that caused this child to die," milwaukee county circuit judge jean dimotto told hemphill.. last month, a jury found hemphill, 46, guilty of physical abuse of a child recklessly causing great bodily harm.. hemphill's attorney had argued his client was trying to help the boy, and that cottrell died after an overdose of medication.. the medical examiner ruled the boy died of suffocation.. terrance died at the faith temple church of the apostolic faith in milwaukee, where hemphill was a church elder and where the boy and his mother were members.. the judge also sentenced hemphill to 71/2 years of extended supervision and ordered him to pay about $1,200 in restitution.
