  Where is Tony?

  on february 22, 2023, anthony morris iii was officially removed from the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.

  a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.

  in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.

  Know it’s not true but stay anyway

  how many of the millions of jws know it’s not true but stay anyway?.

  my guess is most jws know it’s not true on a subconscious level to an extent but they don’t want to think about it too much and would never ever voice it out loud.. but this is probably true with all religions around the world?.

  Having any doubts or engaging in any form of critical analysis (versus simply accepting the delusional teachings of 9 narcissistic dudes in Warwick) is equal to "straying from Jerhover". This is drilled so hard into the heads of the rank-and-file, that they instinctively start to drown out the "Voice of Strangers" whenever "these ones" start talking.

  WT Flip-Flops on Jesus’ Inspection… Was it in 1918 or 1919?... Did the WT PASS or FAIL?

  the more i research this particular subject, the more flip-flops i uncover.

  it seems the fds cant even make up their minds regarding what happened in 1918 (or should i say 1919?).

  Constant Pleas For Money

  it comes up from time to time: that the wt's "constant pleas for money" signifies their precarious financial state due to the pressure of the csa settlements.

  is there any way of demonstrating that to be a fact?

  i ask because i've always been under the impression that "constant pleas for money" is the default state of the organisation, possibly going back to rutherford's time.

  I remember counting money at a district convention in the 1990s. I was one of the assistants to the convention accountant. We were literally on our knees on the floor (where we emptied the bags) because the table was not large enough to organize all the huge piles of cash. Before we could even have the slightest idea of how much cash we had, the usual "Deficit" announcement could be heard in the accounting office while we all looked at each other in utter disbelief. I should have woken up then but I was too young and stupid.

  it's incredible how this cover, and also this "series" of watchtower's is burned into my mind.

  i was almost 5 years old when these were released.

  “1914 and you” — may 1, 1984 watchtower.

  In the 70's I recall that they dropped Pious Sneering from 150 to 90 hours. But I could be wrong.
