i know that most of you do not believe that the annointed remnant among jehovah's witnesses is the faithful & discreet slave.. so who is?
jesus did say that this slave (individual or class?
) would be feeding his sheep, so who is doing the job?

i was just wondering.
so, what do you look for in a woman?.
lilacs.
LOL @ JoelBear...hehe...
Me? Lots of things, in no particular order::
Snappy. I'm always using doublethink and Doublespeak - very little of what I say only has one meaning. This is just the way I talk - I can't seem to help myself sometimes. My writing is dramatically different from my actual speech, mainly because so much of my writing occurs in English, whilst a lot of my speech occurs in Afrikaans, which is a very nice language for Doublespeak...so yeah, she must be able to think on her toes. I also love injecting subtle sexual overtones into my conversations with women, then looking into their eyes to see if they are truly listening to what I am saying. This is an endlessly amusing activity!
Smells Good Yumdy yum yum yum! There have been one or two women in my life who could literally knock me off ANY train of thought merely by walking past and swaying their hips a bit, with Brownian motion taking care of the rest by wafting their delicious scent in my direction.
Loves To Dance Because I love to dance! Dancing is very, very sexual to me - it's one of my favourite forms of foreplay, and as such, is much more enjoyable if both parties are involved.
Nice Hands Bit of an odd one here - but I love a women with beautiful hands and properly manicured fingernails. I take care of my hands, so anyone I date should do this too.
Optional Extras The usual 'man' things, nice measurements, clear skin, blablablah. What I do find exceedingly attractive is a women with hips about 20% wider than her stomach. That to me is an incredibly feminine thing!
I'm not too picky...if they're friendly, it helps too! And raunchy, 'nuff said...

the issue is as old as eden itself, that being: does god have the right to tell us what to do?
that core question, more than anything else, defines what jehovahs witnesses are about, in that we are outspoken advocates and supporters of jehovahs right as sovereign to require obedience from his creatures.
the flip side of that is, of course, rebellion against god, which is expressed in numerous ways and on all levels of society.
Because sexual morality is not the invention of the Watchtower Society, but is the very basis of Jehovah’s sovereignty over His creation
*COUGH* *COUGH*, whatever, man!
The very basis of Jehovah's sovereignty over his Creation??? Care to explain? Cause not only is that one of the funniest things I've read all week, it is also completely bogus!!!

***g93 3/22 5. a fable from india tells of six blind men from indostan who went to see an elephant.
the first one touched its side and said: 'bless me!
but the elephant is very like a wall!
Thanks for pointing that out, Focus. You flame the WTBTS like nobody I've ever seen! Keep it up!

good morning!.
hi was just wondering who are still active in the organization and do you have doubts?
those of you who have left, briefly what made you leave, do you have any regrets, and was it hard making new friends?.
DA's myself a couple of years back...then I found this board a few months ago!
"I see no good reasons why the views given in this volume should shock the religious sensibilities of anyone." -- Charles Darwin, The Origin Of Species, 1869.
after much deliberation, i decided to go "out" at the end of a public talk.
it didn't go down too well, but at least i was able to give some of my reasons for leaving.. i've put some of the details on my homepage.
i'll update it more when i get the time and the strength.
Shit!!! I can't believe it! Dude, you are fugging brave...slap on the back and a nice gold watch to you.
I would have paid large quantities of money to see the expression on the PO's face as you gave your talk...!
Once again, well done...you're a shining example to all the people in this board. Not only have you ridded yourself of your demons, but you have also thrown them back into the pit from which they came!

i remember one sunday sitting in the kingdom hall and, out of the blue (after looking at one of those most dreadful pictures of armageddon), sincerely asked my mother, "where are we going to go?".
my mother frankly stated, "we'll all just gather here at the kingdom hall and god's angels will protect us!"..
i continued by asking, "what's going to happen to all the dead bad people?".
What would be really fun to watch would be 70 people cooped up in a tiny building with only 2 non-functioning (no water, pipes destroyed!!!) toilets for more than a day or two. And what would they eat - spiritual food???
Too bad I won't ever 'witness' it

Have you given this talk yet? It's quite a zinger...you would leave a lot of people very shocked indeed, if they didn't manage to pull you off the stage before you reached the end!
BTW, the link to the zipped version of the talk is broken...plz fix so that we can read the talk in it's entirety!!!
