so i'm sure many of us here have used the site https://ad1914.com/, apparently the domain had expired.

this site was instrumental to my waking up.

i have been able to use it to direct others to as well since it had a large collection of matters dealing with the validity of the "gentile times" claim.

does anybody know anything about trevor pope?

he compiled some ideas from jesse hemery and wrote a book on end times called "a bible study investigation into our relationship to god and into the time of the end" .

its interesting so far and its already hard enough to even find any writings about hemery or info on his goshen fellowship.

has anyody ever wondered what couldve happened if ray, and the other long timers that left, never gave up their shares??.

they obviously don't sell stock anymore either, but how do those who have possession of watchtower stock even come to have it?

and are they just told who to vote in for the corparate positions at this point?.

having learned more actual christian beliefs since awaking from the org, looking back we had such strange and unhealthy obsession with demons compared to any other denomination that i know of.

in nigeria, there was, among others, g. m. ukoli, who at first showed zeal for the truth but then began to see it as a means of material gain and personal prominence.

also before there is an actual meal with lamb served and home cooked food where everybody gets to enjoy the meal and fellowship together.

The JW funeral sales pitch . . .

so recently i attended a jw funeral.

i've been awake and faded for a bit now and so i already have realized the strangeness that is a jw funeral/memorial talk because its basically just a sales pitch to those attending that are non jws using a twist on the christian resurrection hope and barely speaks about the departed.

here's the thing that i noticed the that got me wondering, the pitch, at least at this talk, is given under the guise that it is what the fallen person wanted to be spoken at the funeral and as such its all about the "secondary" "great crowds" class hope.. so my question is had anybody ever attended the funeral talk for someone who claimed to be in the 144,000???.
