Strange
by Jrjw ina couple of times at the meetings this year we've been told that in the future we might get some strange directions from the society that might not make any sense to us.
then they've said will we show our loyalty to jehovah by still obeying?
seems a rather unusual thing to say.

Good standing
by Jrjw inhi does anyone know why you're classed as not in good standing if youve separated when you aren't breaking a commandment by being separated.
1 cor 7:11 - but if she does separate, let her remain unmarried or else be reconciled with her husband; and a husband should not leave his wife..

The speed with which I exited!!
by joe134cd ini was just thinking at how quickly the process was from pimi - pimo - pomo.
i must of spent about 10 years trudging along in the organization very unhappily.
but from the initial stages of learning ttatt to physically walking out the door the process took about 18 months.

Been reading jwfacts and starting to really question everything I've believed the last 12 years. It'll take time for it to properly sink in and for me to take the plunge if that's what I decide to do. Its hard giving up all the friends ive thought of as my family for so many years. I'm shy by nature and worried about making new friends lol. I'm moving to Scotland next year which would make it easier to cut myself off from jws but its still a big and scary step to take and i have to make some new friends in the meantime once i move
