  The more I'm learning from jwfacts and crisis of conscience the more I can understand why jws are taught to stay away from such things because there's merit to what so called 'apostates' are saying and the society doesn't want to lose its followers

  I'm up to page 100 at the moment and there are some shocking things in it. I'm also reading articles on jwfacts and the one about the flood is particularly eye opening

  Strange

  a couple of times at the meetings this year we've been told that in the future we might get some strange directions from the society that might not make any sense to us.

  then they've said will we show our loyalty to jehovah by still obeying?

  seems a rather unusual thing to say.

  Good standing

  hi does anyone know why you're classed as not in good standing if youve separated when you aren't breaking a commandment by being separated.

  1 cor 7:11 - but if she does separate, let her remain unmarried or else be reconciled with her husband; and a husband should not leave his wife..

  i was just thinking at how quickly the process was from pimi - pimo - pomo.

  i must of spent about 10 years trudging along in the organization very unhappily.

  but from the initial stages of learning ttatt to physically walking out the door the process took about 18 months.

  please tell me how not to think too much and get a good night sleep.

  when i was a jw i didn't think too much because i knew everything, but now my mind works overtime.

  how in the hell can i shut it down and stop the anxiety???

  Hanged man I've sent what you wrote to my brother coz he's fascinated by those kind of things. I'm still taking a lot in at the moment, my whole belief system is shot and now I have to search for answers
