I am working on a legal paper for guardianship for my children. In the event that something happens to me and my husband I don't want any of our JW relatives to get their grubby hands on them. Any way on this paper it ask a question. The qestion is:
direct that the guardian of the person of our children serve (with or without) bond.
Now for any one who knows what is this bond that they are asking?

Thank you to those of you who mentioned the caller blocker. I checked with my phone company and that is part of the services that I have. And did not know it. Thank you again.

Hello everyone. It's been a very long time since I posted anything here. Its been a very busy time around my house. This last Christmas I went in for emergancy surgary. They removed 2 hurnated disk and fused my back in those locations. I am still moving some what slowly, but at least with out the pain. Living with out pain is a wonderful thing.
Then in January, my youngest sister came to live with me and my family. She walked away from the JWs. She just receintly dissocated her herself. Our JW relatives do not know where she is livng. It is driving them NUTS, big time. I think, no, I know it is because they have not got a chance to tell her off like they did when I left. (For those of you who don't know she is 23 yrs of age.) She is not ready to talk to them, she is one pissed off lady. She said she will, when the time comes.
Any way they have been hurassing a friend of her's. So she ended up calling our middle sister (there are 3 of us girls) Learned that the middle one is spreading lies. So Emma, some of you know her, called up the lying sis. and really told her off.
What is has come down to now is I am receiving phone calls from our JW relatives. (I know this because of the little tool called caller id). They don't say a word, they just hang up. Now normally this don't really get to me, but these calls come at an hour when we are sleeping. With recovering from back surgary, getting up and around for a ringing phone call that people do not say what they want is well lets just say I'm pretty close to giving them an ear full if you all know what I mean.

The youngest I know of was 16. She was not baptized, when she had gotten pregnate, and parents kicked her out of her home. I was not around when this happened, but she and her husband works with my husband now. The baby that she was pregnate with will be going collage next year. The child has never met her sorry good for nothing JW @$$hole grandparents. Yes I also met the grandparents when I was a JW. If you all are wondering, she raised her child on her own. She only receintly married her husband last year.

Some time around 7 am, my mother in law calls. Hubby answers. We were still asleep. The last time we saw her was back in May, and before that was May a year earler. Any way she calls to ask if she can see the boys. Same old thing, she wanted to take them some where else. And of course the answer was still no, but she could come to our home for a visit. And then the tears started. OH BOO HOO, Ah buh humb bumg!!!!
Hubby said no, and then she wanted to speak to me, but I would not come to the phone. I'm getting a bit tired of this stuff.
She even asked if she could take the boys to the park, and you all know that is with out us. She asked my 7 year old if he would like to go to the park. At first he said yes, that was until I told him that mommy and daddy would not be going with him and his bubba. He changed his mind real fast. And he told his grandma, that he did not want to go.
I almost forgot, learned that there was an assembly about an hour away, that she was trying to sneak them to. She made the mistake of telling her sister that, and hubby's aunt told us.
Then she wanted to speak with my younger son, but he was still asleep.
To make a long story a bit shorter, she was on the phone for nearly an hour and a half. In that time period, she did start in the name calling (that's why I won't let her take off with the children.) She called hubby an apostate, and he returned it back saying that JWs are the apostates. And Russell, and Rudfords were liers. He told her about the date line story and the child molestors, and the involvement the watchtower had with the UN.
Hubby was getting agervated with his mom, that he was the one that hung up first. But she heard every word he said.
He said that he mom is starting to crack (meaning that one day she might leave the JWs). I said good, then maybe keeping her from taking off with the boys will eventually get her out of that DAM CULT. -

``I love my parents dearly, but the message they have chosen to accomplish this is harming good people,'' he said. ``They are putting themselves, really, in harm's way.''
That sounds like a threat to me, don't you? -

Did YOU CHEAT on Your Time?
by minimus inone of the things the congregation secretary has to do is tabulate field service reports.
i always loved it when i would get a report that had an enormous amount of hours and placements.,especially if the person never was seen in the ministry.
i knew a lot of "phantom pioneers".

No I never did cheat on my time reporting. Now looking back on it, I sure wished I did. I managed to pioneer for 3 1/2 years. And it seemed like those last 10 or so hours was the hardest, especially in the very hot or very cold months.

Strange News - AP Lithuania Deploys Cardboard Cops Tue Sep 3, 3:52 PM ET
VILNIUS, Lithuania (AP) - Lithuania this week launched a novel program to deal with a shortage of traffic police: It's cut new ones out of cardboard and propped them up on the side of streets to scare motorists into slowing down.
AP PhotoAbout 300 of the cardboard cops have been placed at road crossings near 90 schools in Vilnius, the capital of this former Soviet Baltic republic, a spokeswoman for the municipality, Rasa Razgaitis, said Tuesday.
She said the program coincides with the start of school in the nation of 3.5 million people. The life-sized replicas, painted turquoise green of actual Lithuanian police uniforms, are expected to stay in service for several months.
It's the first project of its kind in the former Soviet Baltic states, which include Latvia and Estonia.
Nearby Denmark tried something similar in the 1980s. But the program ran into trouble when many of the replicas of police sitting on motorcycles were stolen, apparently for souvenirs.
The some 35,000 litas ($10,000) of materials required to fashion the police impersonators were donated by Kappa Packaging Baltics, a leading producer of boxes in this Baltic Sea coastal country.
Razgaitis said anecdotal evidence suggests the sight of the replicas, first deployed Monday, has, as hoped, caused drivers to hit their breaks.
She said Vilnius has made improving traffic safety a high priority.
Lithuania registers among the highest road fatality rates in Europe, with over 700 people dying each year, or around 20 deaths per 100,000 residents. The average annual rate in European Union ( news - web sites ) countries is under 10 per 100,000.
