  Assembly experiences that strech the truth

  elder and his wife build a flash house.. they go on the stage at an assembly and give an experiences of how they sold the flash house to simplify their life so they can go pioneering.. the real story.. elder and wife can't afford the flash house and have to sell it he never goes pioneering she does until they are declared bankrupt.. why were they bankrupt?.

  the money leaft over from the flash house they invested in a yet to be build apartment and the developer goes bankrupt takeing their money.. just one of many.. karter..

  take the 5 word phrase.

  "i didn't eat your sandwich".

  And how many Bible Dictionaries ,Commentaries,Theologian discussions,Thesis,Translators of Hebrew Greek ancient and modern ,linguists ,etc ,etc.will it take to come to an acceptably accurate translation of the Bible ?

  Never.

  And if after 2000 years GOD has not joined the discussion ,I don`t think I will bother either.

  Mexico Earthquake - Tsunami Alert

  a magnitude 8.1 earthquake has struck off the pacific coast of mexico triggering tsunami alerts.. mexico is also threatened by hurricane katia with winds of 90mph which is expected to hit the east coast later today.. earthquakes, hurricanes, solar flares, nuclear threats - our jw relatives are going to be so excited..

  Oh yeah wasn`t that when the GB said that "they" would be crying out peace and security ? in the world ?

  And didnt the United Nations declare a year of Peace & Security in the 1980`s when instant destruction was to follow ?

  And we are all still here except for many faithfull old JW`s who had put their faith in the GB of Jehovahs Witnesses and died before any of JW`s expectations ,evident realities about prophecies ever eventuated or was fullfilled .

  Unacknowledged!

  so...i watched the new netflix movie, "uncknowledged" by dr steven greer today fierce hearing to dj's discussing it on the radio, minds blown.

  it makes a strong case for ufo's and totally screws up jw doctrine about the earth having the only intelligent life in the universe, as it is where the issue of universal sovereignty is played out and decided....the gb will need to do some fast talking.

  it will be fascinating to blow some jw minds with this.

  Just to clarify my post Awakenednow my thoughts/opinion was about Dr Steven Greer and not whether or not alien life forms exist .

  I have Netflix so I must avail myself to watch it and comment again after I have seen it.

  When I was about 16 years old a group of friends witnessed strange sightings and wired manoeu`vre`s in the night sky that repeated itself 3 times ,one such older person sought to find out if the Airforce had planes over the area on the night in question and the answer was no.

  And their was also another unexplained sighting two of us witnessed some years before.

  ????

  for good reason.

  fool me once....i’m an activist and an author of a book or two exposing and vilifying the destructive jw cult organization.yet i agreed.

  "Even if their are no original texts still available Jehovah will have made sure that the texts that are available will be the same as the originals. He will make sure of that .After all he is GOD."

  as we have seen, the society has so smoothly rolled out the rebranding of the organization in just a few short years!.

  (in fact, i remember a thread post here a few years back, where it was mentioned that all halls are going to get the jw.org signs on them.

  My kids and their cousins get called by their abbreviated names such as Ja,Da,A,Ra,and beH,and Jo .

  An uncle started it and it just caught on with the rest of the family.

  I think you can take Dr Steven Greer with a grain or two of salt.He`s been around for many years with his UFO exposures one dealing with a miniature alien.

  And a couple of years ago their was to be according to him a worldwide exposure /disclosure of Alien life in the Universe

  So far it hasnt occured ( think Armageddon being just around the corner )

  Personally I think he`s just another guy cashing in on the peoples belief in other world civilizations .

  For the record I personally do not think we are the only life forms in the Universe however I dont make money out of promoting that personal belief.

  A lot of his followers have alien watchers where they go out in small groups in the countryside and meditate and chant and then have these "experiences" of cold feelings "aliens fleetingly off in the distance and breezes of the wind.,lights in the sky and so forth.

  I have a close relative who led some of these excursions and doesnt do so now.
