recently disgraced and on leave for allegations of inappropriate sexual conduct, disney said he was "just perfect" for the job.. plans include making yearly theatrical films with post-credits scenes as part of a crossover shared universe with preexisting watchtower film characters like caleb and sophia, the prodigal son, the roman family and the bad worldy boy from school (with nicholas king reprising and expanding his role), as well as an educational disney jr. show, "little chuck", aimed at toddler's, hosted by a young version of ct russell sporting a pretend beard..

Kingdom Hall ... BURGER KING?

after 9 years of waiting, the local witnesses are getting their new kingdom hall.

it is being built on a back road next to a sandpit.

Good Works by "worldly people".

i have friends who are called "worldly people" by jws.

these people are actively involved in feeding the homeless over christmas.

managing thrift shops so they can send financial aid overseas to poorer children.

Jehovah`s Witnesses and the JW Religious organization are in the main parasites on society bleeding what they can out of the world and giving/contributing nothing back into it

.And I was guilty of that as much as any other JW in my 33 years as a JW.

They have all the excuses in the world that one can think of to not support this or that charity / humanitarian relief fund/ disaster fund or anything else that the world asks for to alleviate human suffering of one sort or another.

What do they offer ? a scripture or two or three and then in a sense say "Go in peace" offering no practical help or assistance.

i'm now separated.

my husband hid from me that he suffered from depression, extreme anxiety issues and a personality disorder.

Jrjw Welcome to this site ,many people here can give you good advice without judging you in any way ,keep asking questions here whatever they are and you wont be judged or hauled into a room for a Judicial Committee meeting as you would more likely be told to front at a Kingdom Hall.

New Light

The WT/GB today change a doctrine based on scripture and call it New Light contradicting C.T.Russell`s use of "New Light"

Can't believe we are still here

just this week i had the jws knock on my door.

sisters from my old congregation.

we exchanged the usual polite conversation.

During our chat one of the sisters pipes up and says "I can't believe we are still here. We were not meant to go to high school, get married or have children this side of Armageddon.". This sister is now a grandmother.

I know it`s easy for me to say now,however looking back in hindsight I would like to think I would have made a comment such as

"Well doesnt`t that tell you ,what you have been taught and believed all these years is not true, that you are being misled by your religion ? "

I know that`s easy for me to say now however when someone knocks on your door you are usually taken way off gaurd

What she said is so true though isn`t it something we can all relate to.
