  the jws always like to highlight their persecution during the holocaust.

  while true, the chart below showing numbers of victims for jw was the lowest of all persecuted groups.

  even lower than spanish republicans.. im guessing there have been more victims due to the wt blood policy.

  Sad to say I think you would be right on that score .

  While I was still in many years ago I read a book called "Commandant Of Auschwitz" by Rudolph H. not to be confused with the other infamous Rudolph H.

  I even quoted it in a talk I gave to a congregation , in it he gave a commendation to women JW`s who were assigned to look after SS children as nanny`s and as I remember he was amazed and puzzled that these sisters never tried to convert the children in their care to their faith.

  Isn`t Adonai the name for the Almighty God of Creation in the Roman Catholic Douay Version of the Bible ?

  One other thing to consider the words lord and Adonia both mean Baal.

  Could they be both one and the same ?

  Palm Coast Facility Shut down

  i understand the teaching facility in palm coast florida usa has been shut down now for about three months or so already.

  this is the facility the wts purchased from embrey riddle univ.

  a few years ago.

  Am I on the same page with these examples ?

  Americans say "pick up trucks " (I think) Aussies say "Ute`s short for utility trucks

  In Queensland ,OZ they used to say ports while Victorians said school bags. As well as Qld`s saying meridian strips while Vic`s would say nature strips

  How about USA using the word Diner where we in OZ would use the word Cafe or restaurant and the words Drug Store as against pharmacy

  Or have I lost the plot?

  Why do Jehovah's Witnesses always answer questions through the bible?

  hi.. recently i've been researching jehovah's witnesses and their beliefs and found out that they don't believe in blood transfusions.

  so, i've asked one of my friends who is a jw as to what is the reason for this, and so far, they had always directed me to a bible verse that is in their bible.. clearly, i wasn't getting anywhere and so far, it's pretty much frustrating to even make my friend give me reasonable reason.

  when i was getting somewhere, even a smidgen, they would answer with a question.

  I've been researching Jehovah's Witnesses and their beliefs and found out that they don't believe in blood transfusions. So, I've asked one of my friends who is a J.W as to what is the reason for this, and so far, they had always directed me to a bible verse that is in their bible.

  O.Kay ? J.W`s don`t believe in blood transfusions and they don`t believe in donating blood either they will refer to a scripture that says its not to be consumed and is to be poured out on the ground .

  They will also be in trouble in their congregations if they use Blood & Bone fertilizer on their garden.

  Ask them why is it that it is acceptable for the GB to OK their J.W members to use Blood fractions

  which are derived from donated blood of worldly people in a laboratory ?

  The stock answer by many J.W`s is" OH I wouldn`t use fractions of blood"{many do of course } they miss the point .The GB of J.W`s has said it`s o.k to do so ?

  Isn`t that the height of hypocrisy ?

  They won`t donate blood but they will use blood donated by other people so long as it is processed in a laboratory into fractions ?

  it's my first time on this site though i am no stranger in the ex-jw community.

  i come to you now asking for your assistance in what to present to the dean of students at my university.. why am i meeting with dean of students, you may ask?

  because today, while innocently finishing an assignment in the school library, i happened to look out the window and see the jws with their stupid little cart.

  Good point najw ,also i would show the Dean the articles that state JW`s should follow the direction of the GB even if they don`t understand it and don`t agree with the direction given.

  In other words OBEY us at all costs, and do not think for yourselves we will tell you what to think.

  And please let us know how you got on with the Dean and his response.

  non jehovah witness dinner

  so almost two weeks ago, my boyfriend(who was disfellowshiped) went to the memorial.

  he hasn’t spoken to his parents, friends, or siblings for over a year because of it.

  the only person he keeps in contact with is his grandma, which is who he went along with.
