  Did not the ARC identify over 1000 cases of child sexual abuse cases investigated by the Elders with their in-house judicial committees and not one of them was ever reported to the police or any child protection authorities ?

  This is a fact that cannot be disputed .over a period of what 40-50 years ?

  And remember their are three Elders on a Judicial Committee 3 times 1000 cases equals 3000 Elders who failed in their obligation to look after the most vulnerable of their flock the CHILDREN

  Shame on them .

  cardinal george pell will return to court in a fortnight ,he has been committed to stand trial relating to multiple complainants .. magistrate belinda wallington struck out about half the charges including the most serious of them .. cardinall george pell denies all charges against him.. the world media is watching the outcome of this trial he is the most senior member of the vatican to be charged with such an offence and by, all people , australians who have conducted their own arc into institutionalized child sexual abuse of children .. we wait with baited breath ( for a just outcome ) in all of these investigations ..

  I often wonder about the people who take their freedoms of today for granted would be if the Axis powers had won the war ,under those systems their is no way on earth we would be enjoying the freedoms we do enjoy today.

  We would do well to read the history books of the atrocities of the Nazis and the Japanese during and before WW2

  The Rape Of Nan KIng by the Japanese in China for example .

  I wonder also of the JW`s who gloss over all of the wars sanctioned by Jehovah in the old Testament and they never seem to imagine that their were many , thousands ? of deaths of Israelis Jehovah`s people under the Theocracy of Jehovah`s rule .

  The fact that their were deaths is brought out in the account of David who sent the husband of Bathsheba to the front line where he knew he would be killed .

  And thanks for the link jwleaks I think we will hear a lot more about this campaign in the future here in Australia.

  Will A Rapid Increase In Human Intelligence Lead To World Peace Between Governments

  with the exponential grow in computer processing power and deep mind studies of intelligence and ai and the possibility that we can hook up our minds to this super intelligence(elon musk's solution) and that this super intelligence can explore what is,, without human bias and selfishness and come to better non violent solutions to the big problems facing humans and all things.

  i see a super intelligence if made in the best possible way would have to be without any built in bias obscures information and will be faulty.. i'm thinking that with great advancements in the fields of psychology, and science the human race will reap many benefits money may even become a thing of the past the way i see it.. being that we are humans capable of both good and bad this technology increase will mean some suffering from man's bad side it can't be helped but i do feel that man's evolution will move in a rather rapid exponential direction towards good by us coming to terms with recognizing our shadow(jung) and emptying it, this alone would stop a lot of warring and a much more sane relationship with other governments.

  the more shadow projections we take back the better we get along with people the less we take offence, i see it becoming common knowledge in the future and more psychological profiles of world leaders up for grabs with this increase in information acting as a teacher for the public to tone down violent tendencies of these leaders.

  last week in the sunday meeting a sister made a comment and collapsed, a massive heart attack.

  one of the young brothers is a fireman and he gave her mouth mouth and according to the doctor this saved her life.

  so if she had missed the meeting that day she would have surly died because her husband is not in great health.

  I kept skipping through it and came to the conclusion a great number are not keeping their promises which is a good sign.

  Sort of like Jehovah who is supposed to be a GOD of love who gave his only begotten Son as a human sacrifice so that all would be saved , and I ask how come he slaughtered so many millions man woman and child during the years of the Old Testament.!

  i have just finished watching the first series 10 episodes and at first i was just a little bit curious and not to sure about it however it certainly grew on me .. it deviates from the old tv series and has a slightly more darker side to it as well as being a bit more modern with life situations judy being coloured and adopted ,and john and maureen a couple with issues and the robot is just out of this world .lets not forget dr.smith as a female and more sinister than her counterpart of the tv series.. i would rate it 8.5 out of 10 .

  and look forward to the next series and hope that their is one because i definitely think it has a future .. anybody else seen it ?
