  they can smash a glass expressing their disdain for higher education.

  where is their anger over child abuse or domestic violence?

  these are actually issues worthy of anger and even a violent display in order to gain attention.

  someone you looked up to some who did something amazing?.

  i live in new zealand and 1 of mine is sir edmound hillary,a great yet humble man.. he and tenzing norgay were the 1st to reach the top of mt everest.it went to the grave with both of them who put there foot on top 1st,neather of them reviled that.. he did alot for the sherpa's of napal making sure they were payed well for their work as well as setting up schools there.. he came to my school and gave a speech then walked around the play ground talking to us children,his phone number was in the phone book and he would talk to anyone that rang him partially children doing a project on everest.. the british tryed to say that mallory and irvine may have made it to the top of everest years before,hillarys reply.....they may have but i made it down again.. karter..

  Dr Victor Chang a heart surgeon whose legacy still lives on was murdered in a failed extortion bid .

  Influence of Babylon the Great is only increasing

  according to jw teaching, babylon the great is the name for all other religions except themselves and predicted its influence over governments would wane in the last days.

  yet we find just opposite happening!.

  we saw russian government acting against jws, we saw president trump’s swearing in ceremony where church official had central stage ….etc.. here is another sample!

  Remember "Babylon The Great Has Fallen Gods Kingdom Rules " book from the 70`s ? I think they said then that it first fell in 1919 and was slowly going into oblivion .Wishful thinking on their part that ain`t gonna happen.

  Agression @ latest Broadcasting

  what i don’t get, is the agression seen in the latest, september broadcasting.. if something is not usefull here at g.’s home, we look if it can be used for an other purpose or store it or put it away in a trash bin.

  that’s what we learn our children.. it seems that for jw.org officials it is practice to get very angry and smash items on the floor.

  somehow the real face of brotherhood is showed here.

  OK i get it now Gorby ,seeing another post cleared it up for me .( I dont watch JW.ORG) and your right the G.B.have shown up their real self`s in this broadcast and as D.F.D. has said other people will wake up.

  Of course apologists will just say he`s just human and imperfect and humans make mistakes .

  So where does Jehovah God / Christ Jesus running/controlling this earthly organization come into play here ?

  Doesn`t anybody edit or proof read/visualize what goes on air / video before its released ?

  wt on education..

  i have just watched the glass smashing on the wt video on education.. please consider these experiences from the opposite side of that "coin".. i have heard young ones say out-loud on the mike in the kh that "jehovah is my special friend.."these ones who were at the top of the wt 'tree' pioneering, putting in the hours etc but, it followed that soon saying that pivotal statement they dropped their pioneering, faded, picked up the girl/boyfriend and suffered being dfd.. so where did their wt "education" leave them?

  it left them as young adults naive to the world, unskilled, with no qualification to offer any employer and having to replace their former family/associates/friends with new ones.. ( dont get me going on shunning) in some cases with little success as we have read here where they moon about for months or longer unable to emotionally heal after the leaving or df'ing and also others with such a turn around they would never have believed it possible... there was a wt that related how a brother (!

  ) followed an interest in history and left the truth.

  can someone post what`s this all about ? I don`t want to go to JW.org myself .

  Having an education and a qualification lifts one up you stand tall and can look at the 'man in the glass' and say well done and it also says to prospective employers this is what i have achieved I can be valuable to you.

  Well said zeb , an educated person can pay his own way in life and not end up being a burden in society ,a sponger , or a bludger depending on the society they condemn for their livelihood like so many J.W.~s

  Interpretation often takes you away from truth

  yesterday, my classmate was giving an example from her homeland on how people can give various interpretations which have nothing to do with truth.

  though studying in the us, she was closely monitoring what was happening in kerala (a small southern state of india), her birth place.

  last month saw unprecedent heavy rains wreaking widespread havoc in this small state with huge population (which is much more than australia’s population).

  The people interpreting it as god's anger were making two flawed assumptions - that there is some divine entity that involves itself in human affairs, and that this entity was responsible for the event.

  And as far as Christianity is concerned that explains why J.W.`s are just one of 40,000 plus Christian sects.

  Each one giving their own interpretations to the one ( or maybe two or three . ) set of books

  I can relate to them not having anything to do with me ,because I D.A. my self after many years ,however my wife never D.A. her self and nobody of her "friends" in the "truth" have ever contacted her in over 25 years .?

  Dealing with nightmares

  i had some terrible dark nightmares when i was studying which disappeared once i got baptised.

  i think it was psychological based on the fact i believed jehovah was protecting me after i was baptised.

  i had a nightmare tonight after just under a year of being out of the borg and woke up feeling a bit lost because in the past i'd have prayed and then gone back into a peaceful sleep but since i don't pray anymore i wasn't sure how to comfort myself to go back to sleep.

  The brain is a complex organ and dreams can be so bazaar I wouldn`t put too much stock in anything I dreamed otherwise you could go round the twist .

  Dreams are not reality and don`t belong in the real world.

  Leave them where they belong in the imagination of the complex brain.

  for you who have read my bio you will know i have been working on my wife to wake her up.

  now i won’t call her awake yet but through a series of long conversations this week i revealed to her my dissenting toward the jw faith.

  she was totally supportive of me assured me she would never think differently of me because of how i feel.

  My thoughts and good vibes are with you and your wife f2f hopefully you can both be on the same page together and out from under the control of 8 men in America,who dictate what beliefs Jehovah`s Witnesses have at any one time only to change that belief when their expectation / prophecy doesn`t materialize which necessitate`s the doctrine of "new light" that excuses their failed earlier expectations /evidently`s and predictions /prophecy`s .etc.
