  Apparently I am not worth saving ,why else would they acknowledge me and then pass on by.

  jw`s were in my area for the first time in i don`t know how long.i`m in a regional area.

  anyhow i was walking down my driveway with the purpose of going around to my outside fence to spray poison along the fence boundary.. across the road were two witness ladies talking together on the opposite side of the road and could clearly see me coming out of my house.

  i proceeded to rake away newly mowed grass to better expose the area i was going to poison along my fence.. when the two ladies ,maybe 40`s and 50`s ?

  Funny thing is they did knock on our door so my wife told me but at the time i was busily engaged on the throne and my wife wont answer the door to JW`s

  When the two ladies ,maybe 40`s and 50`s ? walk past me and offer a greeting which I acknowledged and gave one back thinking this is their opportunity to engage me in discussion .

  But what did they do ? they just kept on walking without a further howdy do ?

  And now I`m devastated ,whats wrong with me ? that they pass me on by ?without even the slightest attempt to engage me in a discussion ?

  if humans have to suffer to have free will and to disprove satan's challenge to god as mentioned in the bible...then why the f*ck do animals have to suffer as well?

  .

  satan's challenge involved humans and not poor animals.. i'm looking for an honest explanation from believers.. at this point, the older i get, the less i believe in a god who is "love"..

  You can almost tell the JW "era" people come from by names they call their religion or leadership

  So this generation the one after the former generation and the one preceding the next generation ,

  so as not to be confused with any overlapping generations will be referred to as

  I`m finding it hard to get my head around how religious beliefs in this day and age over-ride professional medical staff for the safety and well being of minors in life and death situations .

  The medical profession must have legal representatives looking after their interests so I fail to understand why in the whole world where this situation rears its ugly head from time to time ,that the WTB&TS has not been called out on this issue .

  Its common knowledge on this board the hypocrisy,double standards,contradictions flip flops ,etc.of the Blood Ban,and what is acceptable and what is not acceptable ,Fractions and what you can use and what you cant use ,the fact that JW`s say that Blood should be poured out on the ground and not used for any purpose ,and yet they do all of the above except donate blood of their own but are quite happy to use blood products that are donated by non JW`s..Plus the fact that bovine products are also acceptable to them.

  Surely a lawyer worth his salt should be able to make mince meat of the WT claims about the Claim that the Bible prohibits Blood Transfusions for the reasons they state and not have to go through courts to get the much needed medical treatment.

  Freedom of Religion ? O.K. A person should have the right to practice his or her religion without interference except when the life of a minor is involved,or some such wording to protect the child from their parents.

  Adults can take the consequences of their actions ,but dont impose this on your own children .

  i'm 45 years old now and we wake up my wife and i from borg a few years ago.. i'm living between spain and france, due to my work.. it has been always refreshing to listen and read many of you here.. i hope it will continue the same..

  If Angels in the Bible are of neuter gender ? Then why are they always depicted as males by description and name ? And never a female ?

  in all of the art i`ve seen in christendom, angels always have the form of a male, and in the bible those that are named always have a male name such as michael ,gabriel , etc, .

  nowhere in the art world that i have seen do angels have the female form, and in the bible they don`t have female names.. so if the angels are neither male or female why then are they depicted as males with male names ?and not female also ?.

  the watchtower illustrators also follow this line .when they illustrate an angel it is always in the form of a male and never a female form.. the anointed who make up the 144000 comprise of male and females right ?

  My whole point is do religious institutions such as the Roman Catholic ,Eastern Orthodox churches ,Russian Orthodox Church, Greek Orthodox Church etc etc, as well as the mainstream Protestant religions including the fundamentalists such as the Jehovah`s Witnesses ,in their places of worship show Angels that are female .?

  I`m not talking about artists, religious or otherwise, who portray Angels as female that doesn`t count with me ,I`m talking about official Church dogma ,doctrine etc of these institutions.

  Christendoms mainstream Churches are full of paintings and stained glass pictures do any of these show an Angel that is female and not male .

  I hope I have clarified my OP.

  Your right Wasanelder Once , my blue and just to clarify things more , was it Marley Cole or Macmillan in his book that gave the impression he was not a witness when actually he was.?

  And to get back to vienne`s question "Jehovah`s Witnesses in The Divine Purpose" was a WT publication with no author identified.

  vienne ,If i may ask why do you want to know who the author of this book is specifically when their are heaps of other books that the Society produced with no authors name given ?

  jonahstourguide your not confusing this book with "Faith On The March" are you by Marley Cole who made out he wasn`t a JW but in fact was are you ?

  If my memory serves me correct "Jehovah`s Witnesses In The Divine purpose" the large hard cover green book was printed by the Society with no name of the author .

  I stand to be corrected if I`m wrong but I don`t think so.

  Marley Cole wrote a book titled " Jehovah`s Witnesses A new World Society " maybe you are thinking of this one .

  And in this he gives the impression he is not a JW when in fact he most certainly is.
