since today there is a post about jws and science i thought it right to throw them a bone and see if they have anything right:.

1. round earth (lol).

2. old universe (13.7 billion years).

As I understood it in the 1960`s they said that the universe could be millions of years old as was stated in Gen.1:1.

And the following verses only apply to God turning his attention to preparing the Earth for humans to inhabit.

Their is a difference.

Of course that still means that humans have only existed on Earth about 6000 years by their chronology,do they still teach one creative day is 7000 years long ? From "Paradise Lost To Paradise Regained" ?

Or is that just one more of their teachings that they choose to ignore nowadays.

a regular guy went into a vape store in georgia recently, to buy his wife some liquid for her e-cigarettes.

his big mistake was to wear a trump t-shirt.

the shop assistant went completely mental because of the t-shirt.. the customer remained calm throughout and eventually got the product he wanted (i think).. but what a scene!

I wonder if that guy still has a job ? I don`t think he had good PR with his customers or that he had good people skills. ?

Maybe he needs a little bit more training .

Jehovah`s Witnesses have knowingly and willingly promoted a false name of GOD ,namely JEHOVAH that they know was invented by a Spanish Catholic Monk in the 13th Century.

Especially so since they adopted the name Jehovah`s Witnesses in the 1930`s.and given prominence to that name contrary to the Christian Greek Scriptures ,the New Testament which clearly states that Christians are to be witnesses of Jesus ,NOT Jehovah .

According to their first edition "Aid" book because it was the most common name used in Christendom .

The most commonly used ? by whom ? Christendom of course who else uses the name of GOD on a regular basis ?

Hang on don`t they say that Christendom has been instrumental in hiding GOD`s name ?

And if that was true why would we still see today Ancient Churches throughout the world ,centuries old churches that have inscribed in stone the name Jehovah .?

The reason ? because a 13th century Spanish Monk took the 4 Hebrew letters of the Tetragrammaton in latin as JHVH and added vowels to those four Hebrew letters and came up with Jehovah.

That name was never heard of before the 13th Century. { Hebrew never had a J sounding word in their vocabulary }

Getting back to the "Aid" book they admitted that Yahweh was probably more of a correct pronunciation ,however they went with Jehovah because it was more popular .? amongs`t bible Scholars who were not Jehovah`s witnesses .

So what TRUTH are they trying to sell here ?

If more than 26% of eligible voters didn`t vote ,who are they or anyone else to complain about the result ?

Were they too lazy or indifferent to the issue ? in the first place but now they complain because the vote didnt go the way they thought or hoped it would without their vote ?

Xmas Cards some of us sent to each other couple of yrs ago.

i came across some xmas cards some of us sent to each other a couple of years ago and thought it would be nice to send a greeting back this year by pm .. i was able to do it for some but not all that sent me a card because they gave their real names and not their call sign on here.. and stupid me didn`t keep the card with the envelope it came in.. and i`m certainly not going to post your real names on here.. if your inclined to, or remember sending me a xmas card a couple of years ago and you haven`t already got a pm from me your welcome to pm me anytime and we can exchange greetings.. i felt it was a personal exchange between real friends i have made on this forum and i thank all of those who did send me a card and well wishes and opened up their lives to me.. and hopefully they got the same from me.. smiddy .
