That brings back memories my friend ,my first car at 19/20 was an Austin A 40 Tourer /soft top? 1948 model .
I still have fond memories of that car being my first.
on saturday my son finally got around to getting his driver's license, and then on monday, he bought his first car.
you might be thinking he is 16 or 17, but you'd be wrong.
he is almost 22 and in his third year of college.

today my wife and i went to college.
although not allowed to go to college as jws we got to lead a class today and it was really special to be able to do that.
the class was an honors class on social media and psychology and i created a presentation around the propaganda and manipulation used against us as jws.
dubstepped thank you for sharing this.I hope you and your wife can get the opportunity to do more such presentations like this at other schools of learning ,well done .
On a lighter side: At a TMS you would have got a G for presentation and delivery but I`m sorry to say your wife would have got a W for appearance simply because she wore slacks ,and then would have been taken into the backroom for a dressing down from the Elders.
Apart from that I loved it
smiddy
you realize that your spiritual leader may be wackier than previous suicide cult leaders.

jim jones in happier times.
a study of religious retention rates–that is, what percentage of people raised in a particular church or religion stay with it when they are grown–is quite interesting.

jdubs have alittle over 36%.
I`m surprised that the Mormons have 70% ? And the Catholics only 68% ?
I liked that
i haven`t had a chance of yet to welcome all of you newly resurrected ones that joseph rutherford assured us would be arriving since 1925 .. so please feel free to make yourself known to us and if we don`t hear from any of you, what should we derive from that .?.

That`s nice Tammy sounds like your son has his head screwed on right and I wish him well in his studies .
He's very wise when it comes to money, even more so than his parents.
Sounds like my boys and their parents
this pope is apparently not comfortable with people kissing his ring.

There is no way the WT /JW religion will be around for another 2000 years ,the writing is already on the wall for them.
i actually visited the kh a few days ago.
i just needed to see some friends.
i hadn't been in months.
I have reached out over the years to a few I considered good friends while in the "truth" for 33 years and even though a couple seemed genuinely pleased that I made that initial contact they have never bothered to reciprocate my call to them and that has been years ago now.
My philosophy now is "If they don`t want to know me ,I don`t want to know them "
just stumbled across this record of a child abuse case in ohio which apparently went to the ohio supreme court:.

Due to the way Watchtower handles these matters by involving elders, judicial committees, the service and legal departments, they rarely stay within the bounds of the clergy-penitent privilege.
And are the rank and file members of Jehovah`s witnesses even aware that the governing Body / Legal department resort to claiming Clergy-Penitent privilege in a court of law ?,when they proclaim to their congregations they do not have a Clergy class within there religion ? Thereby separating themselves from Christendom`s religions ?
Are they not Hypocrites ? Liars ? Deceivers ? of what is true ?
