  i want to make a youtube video using the liquor store footage and tony speaking on the importance of respecting the conscious of others.

  lemme know.

  we can't say he's getting drunk but he sure didn't consider the way others would view his actions.

  I had second thoughts about putting those beers in as a joke because I thought I might upset corruptgirl who might have thought I didn`t take her post seriously or appreciate the evident time and effort she took in researching her post that I say again was an excellent analysis and appreciated the reason why she did post it.

  Its a pity Elders who give this advice "bring reproach" upon Jehovah's name.“ were not themselves identified and prosecuted as they are really harbouring criminals and perverting the cause of justice in not reporting these abuses themselves .

  I would venture to say that there would be many people before they converted to the JW religion had a problem with alcohol and still had that problem long after they had been baptized .

  I personally knew of a few in the many congregations I attended and initially had that problem myself in my early 20`s through to the my 30`s .

  Thankfully now I consider myself lucky I have been one of the few who could self regulate and can drink in moderation without getting drunk or intoxicated and be a pain in the ass to anybody.

  And I must admit the religion played a big part in my overcoming that problem .( credit where credit is due )

  Getting back to the topic,in my early days I would have been stumbled if I saw TM or any other high ranking JW buying such large quantities of top of the shelf booze.

  A similar thing I experienced with was smoking.I was a chain smoker rolling my own mostly but on going out I would smoke tailor mades and upon learning the "truth" I managed to give it up cold turkey, being told it was not acceptable by my mentor. This was in 1960.

  Years later I became aware of brothers who did smoke some who were MS and their was no penalties for doing so .That threw me a curve but I had kicked the habit by then, and thought, though I had been cheated.

  This was before they gave JW`s six months to kick the habit.

  So yes Tony`s buying so much booze could certainly stumble vulnerable one`s ,I hope he has if that free`s them from the clutches of this religion.

  i’ve always wondered about this one.

  if the bible says there will be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous, does that mean all mankind that have died will come back to life?

  if so, what’s the incentive for jws to have an urgency to preach and save people?

  Good questions by both posters by above posters to ask the next JW to come to your door. People who live in lands where the Bible and Christianity is forbidden get an out of jail card because Jah can read hearts .?

  Why can`t Jehovah read hearts everywhere ? No need for KH`s or JW`s .

  In the past 2000 years Billions of people have lived and died not knowing anything about Christianity ,the Bible and certainly not the Jehovah`s Witnesses yet Jah will read their hearts .?

  Do we have a record of Jehovah reading the hearts of those humans in the world during Noah`s day ?

  Its hard to believe or comprehend that every man woman and child would have had a bad heart condition prior to the global flood.

  Worthy of their destruction.

  Do Any Of You Dream About JW Friends You had ?

  what prompted this topic was a dream i had last night where i was engaged in a conversation i had with an old friend where i was trying to prove where the jw`s were wrong from their own bible.. and this is not the first time i have had such dreams.. often times i have had dreams about people i have known in the religion .. remember i have been away from the religion for more than 26 years now and in a totally different part of the country .. i now wonder if any of them ever dream about my wife and i ?

  but that`s something i`ll never know.. do any of you have any such experiences ?.

  maybe i`m spending too much time on this site lol.

  Oh Nathan does that mean your a sex addict or an alcoholic ? LOL , and thanks to all those who responded with serious answers .

  Both my wife and myself have these type of dreams and its nice to know that others on this board also experience them .That makes me pretty confident that we also feature in active JW`s dreams that they have.

  They may have put us out of their conscious mind however we could still pop up in there dreams,and I like that thought.
