Terrorist Attacks in Sri Lanka

a civil war between government forces and separatist tamil tigers ended in 2009. the war lasted 26 years and cost at least 70,000 lives.

How in the world do extremist Muslims think acts like this is going to benefit their cause ?

shouldn`t common sense tell them that these very acts of atrocity are eventually going to be their very undoing ?

And that world opinion will eventually not tolerate this anymore ?

And the consequences will be / have to be very severe for them and their beliefs .

This just cannot go on forever , drastic and severe action has to be taken sooner or later .

And the sooner Governments of the west finally realise this the better for all of us.

Before too many more innocents die from fanatic Muslim suicide bombers .

the tetagrammaton 4 hebrew letters representing gods name in the hebrew scriptures as jhvh or more likely yhwh .. the name jehovah was unheard of before the 13th century simply because no one beforehand had added vowels to those four hebrew consonants representing gods name .. and then comes along a spanish catholic monk of the 13th century that adds vowels to those 4 hebrew consonants and he comes up with the name jehovah.. a name that the catholic church has used in and on churches since the 13th century throughout europe and elsewhere in the world.. and lo and behold the g.b.of jehovah`s witnesses in their wisdom stated in the first edition of the "aid to bible understanding" that they chose the name jehovah as the correct pronunciation of gods name because it was the most popular name in use in the world ?

logically by christendom `s religions ,who else ?.

then their is the bible cannon that all of the major christian religions have different books that they feel should make up the bible.. protestant religions .

And when you do get to know ( ginosko ) God /Jehovah ? Yahweh ? by his deeds and actions in the Bible you get to to know and see what a terrible being he/she really is .

Certainly not an entity that is worthy of worship.

The god of the bible has caused more suffering and death to humans on earth than Satan ever did and if you don`t believe that then read the Bible again without your rose coloured glasses on.

Am I missing something here ?

I thought God enthroned Jesus as King to bring all Christians ( those that put and exercised faith in Jesus) to God .?

And not the other way round.

As for the OP isn`t Jesus supposed to do this ? Isn`t Jesus enthroned as King ? Over Christians ? to lead them to God ?

My point johnamos is that the name/word Jehovah was not uttered by Jesus , the Apostles , or any of his disciples in the Greek Text that the Jehovah`s Witnesses based their Kingdom Interlinear Translation on the word for word Greek to English translation printed by the WTB&TS.

Additionally the first edition of the "Aid To Bible Understanding " book published by the WTB&TS admitted that Jehovah was not the most accurate pronunciation of Gods name however that was the most popular name in use at the time. ( By Christendom of course ) Especially the Roman Catholic Church who have that name engraved on centuries old Churches around the world .

So rather than go for the more accurate name for God in the Old Testament / Hebrew scriptures they chose the more populous name for God used by Christendom that they continually condemn as the anti-Christ .

i was doing research on another topic and this question came to mind.

notice how the wts dances around the question below and then my comments about that and whether historically did the wts see isaiah as applying to all jws or only anointed members, spiritual israel (galatians 6:16)?.

No where in the New Testament / Christian Greek Scriptures as JW`s like to call it are the followers of Jesus christ called upon to be witnesses of Jehovah God ,nowhere not one scripture .

However their are something like 20 or more scriptures in the Christian Greek Scriptures / NT that specifically call upon Christians to bear witness to, for or about Jesus Christ ,and not Jehovah.

And the NWT of the Christian Greek Scriptures that they base their text on does not contain the four Hebrew letters the Tetragrammaton nor does it contain any four Greek letters representing god`s name .

The Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures revised by Westcott and Hort (1948 reprint) a literal word for word translation into English.1969 edition printed by the WTB&TS .And nowhere does the name / word Jehovah exist there.
