JWs unrecognisable compared to my grandfathers time
by ExBethelitenowPIMA inmy grandfather who has been dead for 37 years would not recognise the borganisation today.
he would turn in his grave if he knew the end didn’t come by 2023.. back in the 1970s he really believed in the 75 thing.
he was so disappointed and almost blamed everyone else why the end didn’t come.

As i have said on another post on this forum ,They maybe the most widely distributed magazines in the whole world but certainly not the most read and the only reason they are the most distributed magazines is because of 8 million delusional Jehovah`s Witnesses who give these mags away for free in their door to door ministry in the hope of converting someone.

They maybe and probably are the most widely distributed magazines in the world ,but certainly not the most read magazines in the world.
And the only reason they are the most distributed magazines in the whole world is because of 8 delusional million or so Jehovah`s Witnesses who donate their time freely to give these magazines away free of charge in their door to door ministry. in their effort to convert somebody .

pontoon.
I`ve been out since the early 90`s and what you describe just seems so foreign to the conversations we used to have .
Sure their was a little social talk but mainly it was about some new "truth" we learned or how prophecy was being filled before our eyes or how the king of the north and king of the south were squaring off with one another.
How times have changed ,just sounds like a social club now.

Moral responsibility.
by nicolaou inno subtlety here, it's going to be obvious where i'm going with this.
please consider the following scenario.. you're seated on a railway platform bench waiting for your train.
a high speed intercity is about to hurtle through without stopping when you see a small child running to the platforms edge!

Curiously the god and father of Jesus has the morals of an Iron Age goat herder
And isn`t that about the Time / Age / period when the Bible was written ?

What if you knew the child was going to grow into an incredibly evil person such as Hitler who would go on to kill millions of people? Would it be better to let one child die in order to save millions from death?
So why did GOD allow this child who did became Hitler survive child birth ?
