Introduce myself

i'd like share why i went from being a teenager determined to work in full time service for jehovah my entire life, to now being on here commiserating with you all.

i use to be an atheist but i now believe in god.

but i'm not preachy about god.

Once I took a critical look at what was actually printed in the Bible saw the discrep`ancy`s ,the absurdities ,contradictions etc,etc.I came to the conclusion it was a book made up by man of many manuscripts that suited there purpose and rejected many other manuscripts that didn`t suit there purpose and even today their are many Christian religions that have different views as to what books are in their particular Bible.Look at Europe.

And in any case it is not any God who determined what was acceptable and what was not it was imperfect humans who had their own agenda.

I have only just come across it and haven`t been able to view all the videos or even one yet only to read the definition of Homo Evolutis

And if nothing else it all sounds very interesting science fiction bordering on the reality ?

Where are all the science buffs ?

Biting my tongue

i'm really biting my tongue at the moment with a certain witness.

he said he hates how the churches have lied to people, misled them, controlled them, got money out of them.

gouge can he noht see the wts has done that, i really wanted to say something so badly.

I have this picture in my mind with people like that of the three monkeys one with his paws over his ears the other with his paws over his eyes and the last one with his paws over his mouth .

And then I think of Jehovah`s Witnesses hear no truth ,see no truth and speak no truth.

Think of the movie "Planet Of The Apes" Charlton Heston (Taylor) standing before a judicial committee of Apes as described above.

Do you have JW-related dreams (nightmares)?

greetings, dreamers:.

i guess it's never going away: daytime carryovers of jw-related stuff seeping into my dreams.. the majority of these dreams take place at conventions but with really weird trappings.

last night i dreamed i arrived at the site with no books, no lunch, nothing but my car keys.

I often have dreams about JW`s and I wonder if those still in ever have dreams about me ? My wife also has those experiences about people we were associated with for many years .

The last one I recall was that I was asked to give a talk at the KH and I was puzzled by it as I don` believe any of it anymore however I was still going ahead and preparing the talk .

Weired eh ?

My New Year Present to Everyone

i have lived in sedona arizona for over five years.

we own the largest wine tour company here and take out more people to the vineyards in this area then anyone less.

COLD today

it's a cold 13 degrees fahrenheit in tennessee this morning where i live.

glad i'm retired and don't have to work outside today.

Its now saturday 06/01/2018 around 4:00 pm and the temp is 40.2 deg.C I have a fan blowing on me while I`m downing a coldie or 2 or 3 here in East Gippsland Vic OZ

( bloody air conditioner has packed it in )

this kid who is maybe 6 years old yells, "mom, my tablet is fully charged any my phone is at 84%!".

E cart witnessing on our way to see Shen Yun in San Francisco

today, i took the day off to go with my husband to san francisco on bart to see shen yun.

coming out of the station, were two elders at a watchtower cart!

my husband loves to witness to them.. started off with a smile and they smiled back and he told them he had been associated with jehovah's witnesses and now he is not but he wishes to tell them that even though they are going to hear things that are upsetting in the news, there is life after jehovah's witnesses.. they smiled and asked him if they could ask what religion he has gone to, or what he is doing now.

If they put themselves on public display such as cart witnessing in public areas then they shouldn`t complain if ex JW`s approach them in conversation ?

Right ?

Maybe it`s a fact that the "Christian" religion is such a major money maker $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for whoever gets on the bandwagon.

And the IBSA / Jehovah`s Witness religion is no exception.
