  Do you think Ruthaford is buried at Beth Sharim?

  no one really knows where ruthaford is buried.

  there is some word of mouth evidence that he is buried under the garage of beth sarim.

  i think he is under the garage.

  Isn`t that ironic that J.F.Rutherford is, or could have been buried at the very site he prophetically stated that the faithful men of old such as Abraham , Issac , and Jacob would live after their resurrection?

  Why are they announcing 2019 conventions so early?

  i was just told there will be international conventions in canada in 2019. .

  so i looked at jw.org and i see that there's a whole bunch of conventions now listed on the site for 2019.. isn't this odd?

  normally we were told the location of conventions during the first week of january.. did they realize there was less in attendance in the 2018 conventions, and want to give ppl more time to make travel arrangements??

  Maybe they should have only invited international delegates and not ANY aussies at all otherwise they won`t have any room for international delegates to attend anyway.

  I remember (vaguely) the international convention in Melbourne in 1963? it was an embarrassment as hardly any IF any at all turned up.

  Do you know which states are not invited ?

  how do you think that the israelite soldiers that were ordered by king david to take uriah to the front lines and then retreat behind him so the enemy could slaughter him live after that event?

  were they okay and at peace?.

  This post brings up other serious questions as well as the O.P. that J.W`s like to gloss over or not even think about at all .

  1. the Israelites were Gods chosen people he sanctions them to engage in war however he does not protect them in warfare they have casualties and people died as in this case and many others that are outlined in the Old Testament ,the Hebrew Scriptures.

  That J.W.`s love to quote from however you never hear about these ones .

  2. How do you think Jehovah`s people lived with themselves when ordered by Jehovah to commit genocide against a nation such as the Amalakites .the Hittites , the Jebusites and whoever else ,to slaughter man ,woman and child ,but put them to the sword and feel not sorry for them .?

  How would you feel killing somebody with a sword pushing the blade into somebody`s body a woman or a child or even a man and then pulling the blade out and then doing it all over again multiple times ?

  3. Do you think it wouldn`t affect you ? mentally ? or physically ? Psychologically ?

  4. How did these people ever live with themselves ?

  5.Do Jehovah`s Witnesses ever think about these issues or even ponder over these things ? Arent they issues they should be concerned about and how to react to them ?

  Is this a GOD who loves the world so much that he gave his only begotten son to die for ?

  The God of the" Old Testament" and the God of the "New Testament" are just not compatible .

  1965: more “new light.” these men will be resurrected, for sure.. 1988: jehovah apparently changed his mind once again.

  This would be an appropriate time for someone to post C.T.Russells explanation of what new light should be which contradicts and exposes the new light explanations the current Governing Body members put over their members.

  " New light should illuminate a previous held belief , not replace it with a totally new belief " which the governing body of Jehovah`s Witnesses now do .

  masionic rings always worn on the right hand little finger, these are gatekeep rings.. brother let shows his in a big way, and then the other old brother who was in prison in spain, when he tells his story they realy make a big deal on his gatekeeper masionic ring on his little finger of his right hand..

  Wasn`t Fred Flintstone a mason ? he wasn`t such a bad guy was he ? he made me laugh and that can`t be a bad thing surely.

  I personally know a Mason and he is a nice guy and certainly not a terrorist and certainly not a Jehovah`s Witness.

  important note: i am not a theist and this is all meaningless of course from an atheist perspective, but this critique is written from a theistic perspective for those who are interested in picking apart jw theology or are still religious.

  Amen to that A.J. I had to LOL at that last quote "We can be confident that Jehovah will not allow the Devil to do us lasting harm" Tell that to the Billions of people who have lived ,suffered and died all of these past centuries

  If Satan is the arch-enemy of GOD why did Jesus go with him to be tempted in the first place ? Shouldn`t he have shunned him as a bad association ? An apostate ?

  "Satan misleads the entire inhabited earth" through governments and religion according to J.W.`s ,false religion "Babylon The Great "

  And Govt`s claiming the "United Nations the Counterfeit Kingdom of God" in their publications

  Yet Romans 13 says that the Superior authorities are their by the arrangement of God (Jehovah) and if you oppose them you are going against the arrangement of God and will receive judgement from God (Jehovah)

  "Jehovah promised that Satan would eventually be destroyed" Had he done so in the first place humans wouldn`t have had to go through all this pain and suffering and death that many have gone through, some far worse than others.

  Adam and Eve were like children they had no life experiences ,had no knowledge of good and bad ,had no concept of someone trying to manipulate them ,had no concept about another being lying or deceiving them yet they and all of their offspring to this day have suffered disease and death these past centuries while Satan and apparently all that followed him have had life ,no disease , illness , suffering ,or death these past centuries and could even front up in front of Jehovah and have a conversation with him face to face so to speak.?Until 1914-19.

  If you believe Jehovah`s Witnesses .

  I still wonder why Jehovah`s Witnesses still call themselves by that name when they admitted that it wasn`t the correct pronunciation .

  Why witness about a name of God you know and admit is false ?

  Why go back to the Old Testament?

  why do jws insist on still quoting from the old testament to back up some of their wacky ideas?

  such as on blood, beards, abortion, tattoos, etc.

  surely if the mosaic law code was nailed to the torture stake all of its parts were cancelled.

  Because that is the ONLY scripture Isa.43:10-12 in the whole bible that they feel gives them validation for calling themselves Jehovah`s Witnesses and being Gods chosen people among Christendoms religions.

  therefore they alone have the "Truth" so they believe.

  Of course they ignore so many other facts.

  1.The G.B. admitted in their publication the Aid book that the name Jehovah was not the correct pronunciation of Gods name however it was accepted as such because it was the most used and common placed in Christendom.

  2.The actual name "Jehovah" did not appear in literature until the 13th Century when a Spanish monk used the Latinised version of the Hebrew Tetragrammaton ,the four Hebrew letters that represented Gods name in the Hebrew bible the Old Testament and added vowel `s to it ,coming up with JHVH and adding E ,O,and A and coming up with JEHOVAH which was then used throughout Christendom from the thirteenth Century on which is attestable to in many Churches throughout Europe and elsewhere on their buildings with the name Jehovah in stone.

  3. After that scripture in Isa, was written hundreds of years before Jesus Christ came on the scene the Jews never did identify themselves as Jehovah`s Witnesses did they and Jesus when he came on the scene never berated them for not identifying themselves as Jehovah`s Witnesses .

  So that was never the intent otherwise J.C.would have done so.

  4.The ancient Hebrew language never had a J sounding letter that is why some Bible translations do not use J in their translations so instead of Josiah for example they might use y`osiah or instead of Jesus ,Yesus etc.

  So the modern version of the more likely version of Gods name that the Jehovah`s Witnesses recognized in the Aid book was that Yahweh or some such was more likely accurate however Jehovah was preferred because it was more popular ?

  Popular among whom ? they claimed that Christendom was hiding the name of God from everybody so who was the name more popular with ?

  Why Christendoms Scholars of course whom the claimed were Apostates of Christianity .

  And what did Jehovah`s Witnesses do ? They adopted Christendoms preferred name for God Jehovah .

  Dirt Fishing - Latest Coin Finds

  it's that time of year again when i can get back on the fields with the metal detector looking for ancient stuff.

  the first field to be harvested was full of peas - ideal as it leaves no stubble and it's a two minute walk from my house.

  it has given up two coins in two visits this week.. the first one is a cut-half silver penny from the reign of henry ii.

  Apart from the historical value and importance of these finds cofty which by the way I find immense for you personally having found them, what about the monetary value to you in finding them is their any reward their ?

  I would expect their would be but are they of much value ? To Museums ? are they interested in such finds ? Historians ? Collectors ? etc .etc.
