  And didn`t the opposition leader bill Shorten state that half of the States of Australia still haven`t signed up supporting the Redress Scheme ,that only half have done so in this point of time.?

  Institutions ,Churches and charities may argue that if half of the States of Australia refuse to sign up on the Redress scheme then why should we.? Its either all or nothing.

  Many people are skeptical of this whole affair. Are Governments just show poning ,seeming to do the right thing to appease the masses without actually doing very much about it.?

  I hope not.

  Edit to add: I did listen to Bill Shortens speech and I was impressed by what he said however he is the opposition leader and what opposition leaders say doesn`t always if ever come to fruition when their in power .

  Well I thought it was a good letter len and I hope they received it in the spirit it was intended

  .With all that has been going on in Watchtower LaLa land these past few years, what with the mergers of Kh`s ,selling off properties all around the world cutting back on literature production ,laying off Bethel members ,all of the child sex abuse issues that are emerging world wide , the cult like adoration of the GB members and the JW.ORG logo etc,etc,

  I find it increasingly hard to comprehend why many more people haven`t abandoned this poor excuse for a religion.

  The sad fact is I suppose that humans throw reason right out of the window when they WANT TO BELIEVE something despite all of the evidence against doing so.

  Good luck buddy and I hope you get some good feed back from your sons.

  There is a cartoon from an Australian newspaper that depicts the actions/attitudes of the wt compared with other churches in this matter but \i cant find it to place it here anyone can it would be appropriate

  .zeb , do you remember what newspaper it was that had that particular cartoon ? If so contact them and they will supply you with a copy .

  If you cant remember which paper it was {their aren`t that many } right or e-mail them all asking for a copy of the cartoon if they were the one which published it .

  I`m sure they will oblige.

  Russian gunman raised in JW family

  2 days ago a teenager killed 19 people and injured dozens and committed suicide.

  he was raised in a jw family.

  Where in a Watchtower publication is the 2014 date suggested? I would find this useful if it exists.

  I think its a case of reading between the lines vienne .

  1914 is a date that J.W.`s originally said was the end of this system of things / the world by the I.B.S.A. /C.T.Russell .

  And for decades they taught that the generation that that saw and understood the events of 1914 ,e.g. 10 year old`s would not die off when the end would come .

  { search back on my posts 3 witness`s rule , Bible based of how long a biblical generation lasted }

  Lets not forget the Watchtower that showed all of these elderly JW`s on their front cover that would not die before Armageddon arrived .

  Of course they all did.

  Then they implied that Armageddon would occur before the end of the twentieth century and that the faithful would enter into the new world.

  None of which has ever eventuated . And this is 2018 ?

  How many failed prophecy`s , expectation`s , beliefs ,doctrines ,of the one true God Jehovah and his one true organization of the G.B.of Jehovah`s witnesses take for them to realize that they have been had ?

  That it is all a scam ?

  A con ?

  What does it take for them to wake up ? And see they have been had all of their lives ?

  Muslims and the Jehovah's Witnesses

  first i want to say that i don't know very much about the muslims, and what i am going to say is not attacking anyone, but instead, it was something that was said to me by a muslim man a few years back.. back in 2004 my husband and i found ourselves in a homeless situation.

  his job had ended because the plant that he was working at, had shut down, and was sent off to china.

  at the time our two sons were still very young, so we ended up staying at a couple of different homeless shelters until my husband could find another job, which took a total of three months before he found a new job, in a new state.

  Jehovah`s Witnesses do not preach to Muslims the followers of Islam in their own lands under Islamic rule on pain of death .

  So approximately half of the worlds population have never been witnessed to in the 100+ years of Jehovah`s Witnesses preaching the "Good news of The Kingdom"

  In other words Jehovah`s Witnesses have failed to complete / fulfill the prophecy that

  "This Good news Will Be Preached In All The Inhabited Earth " before the end comes .

  They have only half completed it in 100 + YEARS of witnessing.

  I would like to see either someone like Barbara Anderson , Steven Unthank , Paul Grundy , Steve ,Hassan , or Bill Bowen on the show .

  Or maybe even all of them at some point to give an overall world view and not from just one country like the USA .

  Can you think of any others to suggest ? It could be good for a second program if not for the first one on JW`s.

  We could all make a suggestion to leah Remini and her program .

  how strict were the jehovah’s witnesses you knew about birthday cake?

  i knew a girl who saw a few pieces of cake in the break room at her work, and ate a peice, then found out later that it was left over birthday cake.

  she felt so guilty and was scared about a bad impression she left on her work mates.

  the watchtower have taught their followers that the lord jesus christ rose again as a spirit creature, and that his body was disposed, disintegrated and dissolved by god the father.

  in this video, i explain the differences to what the jehovah's witnesses teach and what god's word teaches, showing without any dispute that the watchtower organisation is false, and that we can always rely on god's word.

  Lazarus died ,so he paid the penalty of death and was then free from Adams sin.

  Lazarus was resurrected and was then without the sin of Adam hanging over his head.

  So Lazarus should still be walking around among us .

  So what does that tell us ?
