  Its a good excuse to be able to eat drink and be merry with family and friends and have a good time associating with those you love and those that love you .

  And let`s not forget the kids ,what a joyous time it is for them and the parents want them to have a special time.

  Nothing religious about it at all.

  I would hazard a guess that a great proportion of people in western lands and maybe also elsewhere that Xmas is celebrated by the majority of people who do not practice any Christian religion .

  And that those who do attend a Church service at Xmas probably only do so on those other occasions such as Easter ,Weddings and funerals. If that.

  Does anybody have any idea how many ex JW sites their are around the world ?

  in a conversation i had with a jw at the door some time ago he mentioned that their were heaps of apostate websites dishing out false information about jehovah`s witnesses .. i mentioned to him that if they were ex jw`s , so they knew about the religion ,maybe they are trying to tell you something.?.

  it just went over his head and that they all had an axe to grind.. anyway i was just wondering if anybody has done a count as to how many do exist in the whole world ?.

  even approximate guess-timations ?.

  According to the biblical account this desert wilderness that the Jews wandered around in for 40 years would have been one giant shit-hole of a place.

  What about all of the livestock that needed to crap , i`m sure they didn`t go to the outskirts of the camp with a stick ?

  about to move from ''irregular'' status to ''inactive''.. after 6 months of not handing a field service report since the end of june, i will be recognized as ''inactive''.

  there could be 'questions' coming my way.. after having read ''crisis of conscience'' last spring, i could no longer ''actively'' preach or believe the wbts conscientiously.

  i could no longer fake hours by putting the 'slip' in the field service box.

  With a lot of us it was a slow gradual fade and even after I left 15-20 years later I thought bugger it I need to DF the organization from my life.And that`s when I sent in my DA letter to the last congregation I attended .

  And I felt free .

  Handle it in a way that makes you happy and remember what our friends say here

  "they have no control over you unless you give it to them "
